I received my Caulk Removal Tool today via FedEx, which explains the $6.95 shipping cost. I had looked around Home Depot and the web for a caulk removal took, and even tried a couple of others, but they were not up to the task. This is a heavy duty tool that works better than a screwdriver for getting into those hard to reach corners.This caulk removal tool is sturdy and didn't break like the plastic Hyde tool or the plastic removal tool that came with the "Express Sealing and Professional Caulking Kit" (which is not the same as the flexible ProCaulk kit advertised on television).This tool also has a caulk smoother built into the handle, but I found that my finger worked just as well. All in all I am happy with the product and would recommend it.

Removal tool works well, tip seemed to dull fairly fast but continued to work. First tool removal tool as I had some grount lines that had cracked due to house settling. This item had good reviews and looks to be easier to use vs a manual saw, but did not have enough grout to invest in a multiple purpose cutter to remove. For the price and the type of job this tool is for it was worth purchasing.

Really strong and holds up to a lot of hard usage

Some caulk removal tools are plastic. Who dreamed that up? Scraping with plastic?This one is made of heavy-gauge steel. The day it arrived, I attacked an east-facing triple window frame with failing caulk and peeling paint. This thing created big piles of caulk and paint chips in minutes, with no visible wear on the blade. A plastic scraper would have failed in the first few minutes.Next came grout in the corner of a tile shower. This is the best tool I've ever used for that job, which is always difficult. The arrow shape on the business end of this one is perfectly shaped to dig deep into gaps to prepare them for new caulk or grout. Be gentle with it indoors-you can scratch porcelain with it if you are not careful. But that's true of most tools if you use them wrong.Super happy with this tool. It's going to last a long time.

I found this to be ineffective in removing old grout...I had hoped it would cut through the old grout more effectively as an alternative to using a Dremel grinder. It was only so-so at best.

This is a tough little tool for a tough job when removing grout. I haven't used it for removing caulk, but imagine it will do as well. I needed something like this in lieu of a bent rod or bent screwdriver for cleaning out grout lines.
