Gatsby Classic Nylon Breakaway Halter with Snap

Nice enough halter and will break if your horse gets in a situation. They are really big though even adjusted as small as they would go it was too big for my QH mare's head. It fit my bigger app/walker a little better though. He has a pretty big noggin.

This halter was exactly what I was hoping it would be! It not only fit my Shire gelding, which is sometimes hard with his larger head, the color looks amazing on him. The stitching on the nylon is very sturdy, and the leather crown piece is both more attractive and better quality than I'd honestly been expecting. I purchased the halter for trailering and to have on-hand for emergencies and had though it'd just be a cheap halter to have around, but it's already earned its keep at clinics and in everyday use.

Serves me right for being a cheap Chinese product. It lasted a few days. Piece of junk.

It is HUGE. I selected "horse" size and with all the settings cinched all the way up it is still too big for my horse. He is perfectly average, nothing close to small and has never had an issue with any "horse sized" items being too big. Aside from that it's a fine little turnout halter. Nothing sturdy, exceptionally well made, high quality, or outstanding... but nice for $15.

I love this halter for every day use. It is adjustable and sits flat on my horses head. Lightweight yet durable.
