SorelMen's Falcon Ridge Ii Slipper

Mostly very good - Great sole, but scratchy insole.
THE GOOD:This is my second pair because it's really hard to find slippers that (1) give some coverage to the heel AND that (2) don't have a heavy, inflexible sole. These have just the right amount of heel coverage: They keep my heels warm, but I can still slip in and out of them without have to bend over to pull them on and off. (Note that the Falcon Ridge II is a bit higher at the back than the original Falcon Ridge, so these are even better than my last pair.) And I really, really like the outsoles - they're tough enough to walk outside in, but they are also very flexible, so you can (for example) sit cross-legged without them pressing uncomfortably into your legs. I consider these soles close to perfect for a slipper.THE BAD:The insoles are a piece of spongy plastic with fluff stuck to them. The problem is that the fluff doesn't properly cover the edges of the plastic, so you are liable to find that there's a scratchy edge running along the side of your foot. I trimmed the plastic a bit with some scissors and used a brush to drag the fluff across the edge, which helped somewhat. My last pair had this problem, too. It's a significant design flaw. The places where you don't feel this edge feel great. The places where you can feel it feel terrible. But as I said, you can make it better if you take the insole out brush over the edges. For the time being, these remain my slipper of choice. But I really hope Sorel will sort out this issue in future.

Tough, Rugged all day use slipper! Wilderness Approved!!
I’ve had these for 9 months now and use them daily! I’m at home all day so these get heavy use either from cutting grass or just piddling around the house. I even took these on a fly in two week moose hunt in Manitoba Canada and they never let me down. I’ve read reviews of people saying the sole gave out but Sorel must have fixed that issue because I haven’t had one stitch come lose or haven’t had my sole fall apart. If these ever get worn out I am definitely buying another pair because I’d be lost without them! If you’re on the fence about buying these get them because as of October 2019 they must have corrected any problems. Also, be aware there are fakes out there just like all products but mine were the real deal from this vendor at the time of purchase.

Terrible quality for such a high price
Absolutely terrible. Had a pair a few years back and loved them. Bought a pair now, only had them a month, interior quality is awful. Fur coming out, seams wearing through. Terrible terrible quality for the price. Maybe on a $20 slipper I’d put up with this. But for $70? Never again.

Extremely warm, adequately comfortable.
I don't think anyone will be dissatisfied overall with these slippers, but I would like to point out a couple of things I would change:Cost - Knowing prior to their delivery that these slippers were overpriced, I ordered them anyways so I won't knock them too much for their cost, though I think they should probably sell for about 25% less than they do give the number of things I've found that I've disliked about themNo padding/cushioning - There's almost no padding or cushioning at all on the bottoms of these shoes that I can feel, other than the rubber soles themselves that absorb a little of the impact. I'd expect a nicer foam on the bottom of the inside given the price these sell for.Sweating-prone/very warm - The fluffy wool-like material on the inside of these slippers will make your feet sweat very very quickly if they're not already very cold before putting them on. These are more for keeping your feet warm while lounging and not actually moving are walking, because doing any activity or walking in them at all causes my feet to sweat profusely. I'd imagine odor would become a problem very quickly if not washed regularly.Faux-wool comes apart and makes a mess - The wool-like fluff in this shoe has continued to come apart in tiny pieces and I find that I'm always finding these little balls of fuzz on the floor that I'm having to pickup. It remains to be seen if this continues after several weeks the entire lining of the shoe eventually comes apart. It could just be loose bits of material on the very outer later because they're new.

Quality
After approximately one week the lining in the right shoe is becoming loose in the toe box area. Never had this problem with the two prior Sorel slippers I had owner the past several years. Must be a quality control problem.

Best slippers everrrrr!
These are my favorite slippers ever! I wear a size 10 shoe and always order a size 11 in these. They are tight fir the first month or so til the fuzzy inside gets smashed. They will probably make your feet sweat, but better than being cold! I'm only probably my 6th pair of these, who cares if they're $60+. You get what you pay for, comfort, warmth and cool looking!

Poorly Designed 'Slipper'
This slipper has a very small lip on the back by your heel. It is too low to actually hold the slipper on your heel when you walk, but tall enough to be irritating with each step. It serves absolutely no function. Everything else about the slipper feels great, but it Sorel really needs to decide if this is a slide or a slipper and stick to one. The hybrid design is just terrible.

They stay comfortable!!!
I've been through many pairs of slippers and my experience is always the same. As soon as the lining is mashed down after a couple weeks of wear you may as well be walking on a hard floor with bare feet. I bought these based on reviews and having had a pair of Sorel snow boots that I was very happy with. I've had these for a couple months now and could not be happier. Yes the lining is mashed down as expected with wear but Sorel actually puts something in the sole of the slipper that keeps the comfort level. Could not be happier knowing when I wear my slippers, I'm actually going to be comfortable and not regret my purchase as what usually happens.

My"go-to" slipper
The slipper is a perfect fit for my wide sized feet. It looks good, is well-made and very durable. It has been my "go-to" slipper now for many years. Buyers should note, however, that to get the "exact fit" for my size 11 feet, I need to buy a size 12...probably all the extra and oh-so-comfortable padding! Highly recommend.(By the way, I think this may actually be my second review for this item....if so, happy to oblige but probably don't need to do it again!)

Darn good quality and a design that works.
Because there is about 1/2 size difference between my right and left foot I was concerned that my right slipper would not fit snuggly enough. After 2 weeks I can say that there seems to no problem on that score . . . Yippee! I have worn several other types of Sorel slippers and always been totally satisfied so I can relax knowing that the quality is there and that the design accommodates the disparity in the size of my feet.

removable insoles
arrived quickly, I have been wearing these SOREL slippers for years as the insoles easily slide out allowing for orthotic insoles. they last almost 2 years of daily wear.

Pretty good
These are comfy slippers. I like them. The only improvement they need to make is to make the inside feel more natural. I have a pair of Ugg slippers and you can tell the difference between the artificial and real wool. Otherwise I recommend it

very good quality
My husband loves these slippers ~ this is his second pair. They're very good quality and extremely comfortable. Can't ask for anything more.
