Nemo Single Card Holder Retractable Lanyard for Badge or ID, Blue

It is a smart design. You don't want to manhandle it as I could see the plastic getting stretched out to breaking point. But if you use it day to day and don't shove it into your pocket or smash it in your purse it will last a long time.

Wife needed an ID holder for her work at the pharmacy and decided to give this a try. Pretty pricy for something so flimsy and cheaply made. The other pharmacists all thought she bought it at the dollar store. Everything about it is cheap - from the strap to the reel to the holder. I give it 2 stars b/c it does work, though it clearly costs way too much for what is offered.

This product is substandard. This plastic is flimsy and there isn't a chance my ID would stay in it a day. The lanyard is a delicate ribbon, not up to the wear and tear of daily use. Somewhere in the description it said that two came in the package. I received one. It doesn't matter it has to be returned. What a waste of time and money. So, so disappointed.

I use an access badge to access my building and floor at work, so I need something easily accessible. This lanyard got good reviews and I like that it's not encased in plastic, as others I've used haven't worked properly on the sensors. I like that this one can be hung two different ways. Like that I can attach it to my purse and extend it quickly and easily, then toss it back in my purse pocket. One thing I was pleased to see is it snaps together very securely so you don't have to worry about losing it. It's pricier than some of the others, yes, but given all the positives, I think it's worth it. In short, very happy with this item.
