Fixed my leak!
Works as needed. Came as a two pack. A little thin so I doubled them up and they worked perfectly.

The leak is fixed so far
Installed a few weeks ago and had a few rain showers. So far no leaks. I only needed one of the two gaskets supplied, and no sealant.

Awesome
Dealer couldn’t fix, they even replaced the light, I used both gaskets, one on light one on truck, no leaks no more humidity. (2017 ram 2500)

Could be thicker, but still works.
So far so good. I am curious to see how it hold up to the sun/snow. I’m guessing it’ll to the same thing the original did and leak. They do recommend using caulk to give it an extra seal... which... was what I was trying to avoid. Need to change a bulb? Have to cut the caulk out, change bulb, clean the surfaces of old/dried/hard caulk, then do it all over again. I’d say it could be 1.5x as thick to allow for more compression around the perimeter. Aside from a nicely cut gasket, you could do the same from a sheet of foam, cut overlapping strips and you’d have the same thing.

Used on 2012 Ram 1500. Stopped Third Brake Light Leak.
Used this on my 2012 Ram 1500 and it stopped the third brake light leak.*I might add that I also put flash tape on the inside of the brake light housing and put extra silicone RTV adhesive around the gasket as an extra added security.Either way, I'm happy with my purchase and I'm glad there are two gaskets for the future when needed.

Beware leaks like a sponge
Unfortunately this did not work for me. It leaked all inside my truck after a rain storm, what a mess! It was installed correctly and all the old adhesive was removed and alcohol was applied to both the third brake light and paint on the recess. I bought this two pack to do my truck and my dad's and unfortunately it caused a big leak on both trucks. My original Mopar gasket started to leak slightly so I bought this to fix this issue and it leaked worse than my original cracked gasket. In the end some gasket seal from Home Depot fixed my issue.

Good fit
So a couple of thoughts to share. First, shame on Dodge for the shitty design. Should be recalled.Anyway, I used a dull putty knife to remove the old seal, so I wouldnt damage where the seal sits. Then used glue remover to remove, well, the glue (Würth adhesive remover). Then rubbing alcohol to prep for the new seal. When placing the new seal on, be sure to place it at the top of the seat. I placed the first one too low and had to use the second seal to correct the mistake. Good thing it comes with two! Cleaned the dirt off the truck and reinstalled the seal. Because the light has bent with the heat of the sun, or the pressure of the end screws the seal isn't super tight. Certainly tighter than the old one, and I pretty sure it will keep out water, but ultimately I think the solution is to replace the light every 8-10 years. 😞 Also, hard to test without removing the headliner.

2 for the price of 1
Used on my 2012 Dodge Ram Laramie 2500Fit was bang on, thick enough to get a good seal all the way around. Used the supplied wipe and cleaned the painted edges of the truck “not the third break light” Screwed back on while pressing the light tight towards the new gasket and 👌

2 gaskets for price of one
Appear to be of good quality - peel off sticky side, good density and even cut. Comes with alcohol swab, presumably for cleaning surface after removing old gasket. I'm dreading the removal based on the experience of others reported online. Given the high frequency of leaks with rear cab lights, I'm considering applying a thin layer of butyl tape in addition to this gasket. Best practice for this sort of thing is to avoid using silicone otherwise future removal (and perhaps increased risk of failure) will be challenging.
