ChacoMen's Bandedz/Cloud Sandal

I don't tend to like sandals much because I have rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis in my feet, and I never feel supported. I do in these Chacos, though, so I bought two pairs in different colors.Here's what I like:* The cushioning is good (not Hoka grade), but above average for sandals* The tightening mechanism is fantastic, avoiding tons of velcro straps* The three straps are stylish and comfortable. I feel supported. This is what upsets me, because they got rid of the extra strap. I don't know why.* They are easy to tighten and loosen* They are ultra high-quality sandals. I never feel like I am going to destroy them.* In my view, these are better than any other brand of a similar style.* The sizing is consistent. I have two pairs.What could be better:- As others have said, the tightening strap is a touch long. I have not had them touch the ground, but I could see how they would for some people with narrower feet.

I encouraged my husband to buy some sandals for the summer months, as he’s usually a “I only need a pair of tennis shoes” kind of guy. He loves them and wears them all the time! Comfy and secure.

I'm happy with these shoes but it took me four pair to get it right! They're comfortable and secure. I was looking for a version with no toe strap that I could still jump around on river rocks in without worrying about my foot slipping or stubbing my toe (quite as easily), and these do the trick! Now for the sizing drama: REI no longer carries them in the store so I couldn't go try them on in person. I'm a woman with big feet (11.5), so I usually order men's shoes. Ordered the men's 9 in black and they sent me a *women's* 9 in a totally different style. I ordered the mens 9 in a different color (exactly the same size as my old pair of chacos that were finally falling apart after 16 years) and they were too small. Then I tried the women's 12 and they were too narrow. Every time I tried to buy the MENS black 10s they showed up as WOMENS shoes when I went to the cart. Finally ordered a men's 10 in a different color, which showed up in the cart as expected, and they fit great (and held up together are exactly the same length as my old 9s) so I'm going to keep them and hopefully not have to deal with the nightmare that was getting what worked for another 20 years again (unless they don't make chacos like they used to...). But if you're buying a men's 9 or 10 in black, double check your cart before you check out!

I’ve used these sandals for the beach, paddle boarding and a decent kayaking trip. Overall great arch support, comfort and durability… but because of the straps, kind of a pain to put on and take off.

These work well and are comfortable. I also bought the ones with a toe strap. They toe strap was un comfortable and was always tightening up and so could not be adjusted. These you just set them up and they stay adjusted. I got the size 10 even though I am a 9 or 9.5. This is fine. I like having the extra length. Also my toes are a bit short so I think the length of my foot matches a 10 better. So the arch is in the right spot etc.

Needed to replace my chacos that fell apart and I found these. I wear a 9 in women’s shoes and found these for a great price in men’s. They fit great, aren’t slippery, well made quality, and super comfortable. I like that the straps are adjustable. Can’t go wrong with the color black- goes with everything.

Sturdy, heavy weight, excellent arch support.

I was really surprised how much I liked this. At first it seemed to tight, and I considered exploring whether I could get a wide in the same size. Then I made a discovery: the protruding strap that some complained about was part of a long continuous strap that went around the lower part, AND COULD BE ADJUSTED!! Now the strap no longer is long, and after loosing the bottom I have an excellent fit.I like the looks of the sandal, and now the excellent fit. It is very supportive and a step or two above the tevas I’ve been wearing for many years. I have suffered from plantar fasciitis and this extra support should be all I need to stay clear of it for a while. I strongly recommend this sandal, without reservation.

me enviaron la talla que pedí. necesitaba una sandalia con un "high arch support " y lo tengo. son algo pesados para caminar pero de dan todo el soporte que necesito y puedo usarlos en la alberca. la garantía que la compañía misma garantiza es increíble.

Product arrived as advertised

履き心地も非常に良く、またソールの交換も可能とのことで長く使いたいと思っておりましたが。6月初めの購入後、2ヶ月足らずでソールが横に割れてしまいました。補修剤で補強をしてみたものの、すでに遅くどうにもなりません。履き方が悪かったのか、元々弱かったのかはわかりませんが、非常に残念です。2022/08追記出品者に連絡を取らせていただいたところ、メーカーに確認後交換をしていただけました。改めて使用し、様子を見させていただきます。

The continuous strap makes it unnecessarily difficult to adjust, and even then, I couldn't find a comfortable fit and returned the sandals. I received a timely refund, however, I have had no luck in getting reimbursed for shipping. They offer free UPS return shipping but since there's no depot close to me, I opted to send it via Canada Post. The company states that it will reimburse up to $20 in such a case. I have contacted them with a request for reimbursement but only get the automated reply "Hello we will respond to your message as soon as we can." 8 days later, it's the same canned response.

No tienen tanto agarre en piedras mojadas. La suela es pesada y afecta al equilibrió y agarre. Las correas no parecen mejorar el agarre, y a la correa ajustable le sobra un gran tramo que no me explico, pero todas las Chaco son así, y es incomodo, imagínate entrar a un baño de gasolinera arrastrándola. Eew!
