I've been using a Dogtra e-collar for years to train my dogs, and I love it. It's been a lifesaver for teaching them basic obedience commands, and it's also been helpful for off-leash training. Recently, I decided to get a second dog, and I wanted to be able to use the same e-collar for both dogs. I was excited to learn that Dogtra makes additional receivers that are compatible with their existing collars. I ordered the additional receiver, and it arrived quickly. It was very easy to add the new receiver to my existing collar. I simply followed the instructions that came with the receiver, and it was up and running in minutes. I've been using the additional receiver for a few weeks now, and I'm very happy with it. It works just as well as the original receiver, and it's been great to be able to use the same e-collar for both of my dogs. If you have a Dogtra e-collar and you're thinking about getting a second dog, I highly recommend getting an additional receiver. It's a great way to save money and to make training your dogs easier. Important Note: Dogs should have basic obedience training on a traditional choker collar before adopting any e-collar. E-collars should only be used as a last resort, and they should never be used to punish a dog. Five Stars!

We've had our last dogtra caller and remote for over 10 years. It's been through 5 dogs for training. Still works but it's not expandable. We now have two shepherds and I don't like having to choose or carry two remotes. So we got this system with the spare collar. It's so easy to set up and pair and it works so well. Much better with just one remote. Their systems are totally worth it.

We have two dogs (doodle mixes) and really like this model because of the two dog capability from one remote. Our neighbor even bought one off our recommendation and he loves it as well!

Edit-The company reached out and helped! To pair a second collar is a bit funky. Not as simple as the single collar. But it is paired now and works great! So I did change my stars. I purchased this collar for our second dog. I paired it and started using it. Our dog didn’t respond to the collar. I spoke to our dogs trainer, she figured out that it isn’t receiving from the remote. We have both tried to repair the collar AND it still isn’t working. I’ve got a $150 e-collar that doesn’t work. Because the first collar and remote set worked beautifully, I assumed I would be safe with this collar...so yeah the box is long gone. The collar lights up, charges but does NOT work. It will rapid blink when starting to pair, the rapid blinking stops when you press the two orange buttons together (meaning it is paired) but does nothing when you press either button.

Got this to add to a new arc set. It paired right up no problems. Works exactly like the first collar that came with the arc remote. Perfect fit for my lab. She is at 60 pounds.

I’ve had the original collar and remote for like a year now and they all paired up in seconds (after following directions). Solid range for both, and collar color makes it easy to un-stupid the right dog

We love the Dogtra brand, especially these collars. We got our first collar for our Shepherd almost 3 years ago, and it’s been in the ocean, pool, and hiking trails. So when we got our 2nd Shepherd, it was a no-brainer going for an additional receiver. Pairing is simple and these collars last so long!
