Elzetta Tactical Flashlight
I purchased my ZFL-M60 LED Flashlight over one month ago. I have enjoyed it thoroughly since that time; using it almost daily. It is very durable and rugged and yet very comfortable in my hand. With its bright light of 235 lumens, I can see things clearly some hundred yards away. The beam is tight; yet it lights up the areas along its path. I have owned a couple of different LED flashlights but this one is such a pleasant surprise. It surpasses all expectations that I had at the time of purchase.I was tired and disappointed with all of the misleading advertising rhetoric about how one company's flashlight was different and more powerful than other products on the market. I can honestly say that, despite previous disappointments, this Flashlight has lived up to its billing. It is built to last and, if I ever lost it, I would not hesitate to get another one. Thank you Elzetta for living up to your promise. I highly endorse it. Damn, this sounds like a commercial.

Mislabeled tailswitch
This is a very nice light. I was persuaded by the YouTube video of it being disassembled and reassembled underwater and still working (try not to get the batteries wet!). I've only used SureFire lights until now, but the Elzetta feels a lot more sturdy. The only problem with this light is that the tailswitch for the one I received is a simple "on/off" switch, _not_ the "high/low" version.I 'phoned Elzetta, and their customer service was excellent. They offered to help me with the distributor, but I opted simply to purchase a high/low tailswitch on the Elzetta website. Very easy. So, rating for the light is 10 stars out of a possible five, but rating for this merchant's labeling of this product is minus five.

Built like a tank
this light will take it, provides very good ilumination, perfect for an LE shotgun and AR models. Needs to have the size clearly on the packaging so you know waht mounts to use. High quality, Made In the U.S.A.

Product Review
Here is what a discharged Marine, firearms instructor and LEO has to say about the ELZETTA lights:I got a demo unit to test from Elzetta to see if we might want to carry them in the shop. Dave and I talked and he sent me a ZFL-M60 and a Zorm mount . I opted for the high/strobe 2 cell with the strike bezel. When the product arrived I immediately took notice to the weight and finish on it. It has a very nice and durable finish that will match up to any AR! I liked that the mount came with a cotter pin to hold it in place on the weapon so that there is no chance in it coming loose over time and during hard use as some mounts do. After seeing the YouTube video of these guys using the ZFL-M60 to nail a couple 2x4s together I had to try it for myself! It actually worked flawlessly as advertised I had asked ELZETTA if there was anything that they rather I not do to the light and he said no and go for it, well I did! I tied mine to some 20lb test spider wire and went fishing...in the Ohio river!!!! I tossed it out there and let it do its thing for a while and brought it back in and cleaned it up. IT WORKED! Well I got to thinking and decided to bury it in sand, mud, left it outside in the weather(cold, hot, rain, frost, etc. No harm done! Well I accidently dropped it out of my pocket when getting my truck keys out and ran over it in my driveway(gravel) and found it when I got home. Still worked! I ran over it with the work truck (expedition) just to show a couple of ISP troopers that it would still work after that and demonstrated how bright it really was! I dropped it off the top of the hospital and it still worked! It seems like every maker out there says that their product is XXX number of lumens and when you get it it's not or only with this specific battery etc. The ZFL M60 is true lumens and there is no sharp rings in light transition like with some others that are out on the market. The light transition is smooth and constant. I was able to see a target at 250 yards like it was almost daytime on a clear night! The back of my property is 5 acres and it lit up my fence posts! I used it as a marker during a car accident that had knocked out power for a medivac to get bearing on a tree line at the opposite end of the field from the patrol car lightbar and an ambulance marking the road! I have used (either bought or issued) a lot of different lights and the Elzetta ZFL M60 is truly the best I have used! Surefire, Insight and others had better watch out because I believe that Elzetta has truly raised the bar when it comes to tactical/weapon lights and mounts!!!! The strobe feature is extremely effective against combatants and the standard light is blinding as well!I would suggest that everyone no matter what you have on your weapon ,duty belt, in your pocket for an EDC light or dedicated weapon light The Elzetta ZFL M60 is a must!!!! I for one will never buy a different light again after using this one! It has really spoiled me plus it makes the other guys envious. Guys and gals this is the best light for the money PERIOD! Again thanks to Elzetta for making an EXCELLENT quality product at an affordable price that is dependable and durable! I for one am proud to say that I own an Elzetta light and mount! Now go out and get you one and find out for yourself! The best part is that they are 100% made in the USA !

Bye Bye Sure Fire
I have a Sure Fire C2 Centurion and a Sure Fire Headlamp. The head lamp had issuesso I sent it back; not once, not twice, but three times before getting a resolution. Sure Fireand its so called warranty have earned Elzetta a new customer. The good news, I think the Elzetta is twice the light anyway. If I ever loose my trusty C2, no worriesanymore, I'll have room for another Zetta!
