I have a racoon problem and wnat to shoot without seriously injuring them. What pellet is best?

If you shoot a racoon with a pellet gun you will injure it. If you don't want to injure them I would suggest a "Have-A-Heart" trap. You bait the trap and catch the animal inside the trap that does not injure them. Then you can call an animal control person or haul them far away yourself. You can call a person who deals with nuisance animals and they can trap them for you for a fee,

Can you use these in .177 pistols ?

Yes, .177 is .177 You can't use BB in a pellet gun but some BB guns can shoot pellets. BB will mess up the rifling in a pellet gun.

Does thees pellets fit the american classic pump action?

Yes, its a good, pointed pellet. Go's into the gun,easy, not like the flat nose. The flat nose (target) pellets, lots of times will, turn over, as you load it.

Can i use them in a tanfoglio witness 1911 .177 cal airsoft gun?

airsoft is not 177 cal either. The Tanfoglio 1911 I have is a BB gun only.
