9/7/20This is amended review based on communication with the seller, who definitely deserves the highest rating for their service. After advising of the issue the seller offered a free replacement case that was sent promptly. When the replacement exhibited more or less the same issue (maybe it had something to do with the shape of my laptop, who knows?), we further discussed options with the seller and agreed that I could try to modify the case by removing the bulging strip (last photo). That seems to work for now though I offered the seller few other suggestions that may be included in the design. Once again, this seller’s responsiveness and service quality should set a great example on how to similar issues must be handled and it’s reflected in my rating of this purchase.—————————-8/29/20Just received it. Nice look and soft leather-like feel. Should be good for traveling though I don't travel much and ordered it to protect against occasional scratches. Didn't use long enough to rate durability. As described in other reviews, it was a bit challenging to insert the screen into corner holders but I managed. The frustrating part was that the cover didn't fully close. A close look showed that the strip above the track pad popped up and pressed against the screen as shown in the photos. I really like the case and trying to straighten the strip so that it wouldn't press on the screen an rub against it. If not successful, then regretfully I'll have to return it to prevent a $1,300 laptop from being ruined by a $30 case.

Below find my original review. Now 5 weeks later? My computer screen is ruined. Will not show anything but lines where the pen (in the holder!) went in between the lid and the computer. Computer doesn’t have a scratch on it but is now a 6 week old $1400 paperweight. Stop using the pen holder ASAP!!!I really like the case, but I would have liked more color choices. Maybe a darker 'real' leather look? Fits really well... tight to get on, but won't slip off! But as someone else mentioned, it did have gnats! wow. Weird!

We had been using a two-piece plastic clip-on cover which provided protection from surface wear and tear but I would never give any assurance to a drop or any wet protection.So finding this laptop case was a nice surprise and the leather assured me to the longevity and durability the case would provide with time.My husband commented on it as well, telling me how much he liked it and felt it was much more protective than the plastic cover we had been using.The laptop hasn't had any over-heating issues or forcing the fan to run more with this new cover in place.I gave 4/5 starts only that I can't say this case will be superior in protecting from drops/falls to that of a higher quality case designed for that specific protection. I do feel this case will protect from bumps and definitely daily wear and tear, scratch prevention. The corners appear to have adequate protection from such minor bumps and bangs. I do love the look of this leather case and gives a nice clean, classy look overall.

This case is better than I thought it would be. I replaced a thin plastic type case that had a grip type feel. This case is a lot more comfortable, nice feel and grip. No issues at all. I did email them about heating and they responded back there isn't any issue with that. Seems fine when open, but I left it turned on once, closing it and I thought it was too hot. Might be just me but I won't do that again.

I got a 2020 MacBook Air, my first Apple laptop. I love it, but was stunned that the front edge is so sharp it hurts to use it. I tried several wrist devices to no avail, considered sending it back, even. But this case did the trick, covered the sharp edge to where I don't even notice it. I hope it will hold up. Hope that edge doesn't wear through. Wish this were real leather. But it is quite beautiful, a well thought out design, looks quite expensive, though it's not.

High end look and feel. Has a soft lining inside to prevent scratches. Beats a hard case that may or may not break your screen when you take it off and traps dust. Perfect fitment on my m1 MacBook Air. Corner protection. Keeps it from closing all the way which keeps the keyboard from touching the screen when closed. (if you’ve had a MacBook Pro you’ve probably gotten the permanent keyboard marks on your screen and know what I’m talking about) I have no complaints and especially for the price.

Color, price & material are fantastic, but the fit is not good for new apple air. Too tight a fit (took a longgggg time to get it on and now will not close completely. As much as I like it, I want to return it. I cannot use it on the laptop. But to mail it back is too costly and Have almost an hour drive to return it thruKhols. Any suggestions, please tell me. Going to have to get another cover somewhere. Maybe I should have gotten Apples cover, cost more but at least it will fit. Already out $25.00 for this one.

It was a tad hard to get on first but that could have been just me. My dad helped and had no issues. Lol it'd definitely worth more than it's being sold for, I think. But am happy it's being sold for the price. Lol my only thing I'd say I'm not liking is, it does kind of stick up around the trackpad. It may need time to flatten and definitely not a deal breaker. I'm very happy and would buy again. They have multiple colors. I got black. It's classy looking and I like to match. Lol it compliments the laptop nicely.

This is a lovely fitting case in a good quality faux leather, tha brown is a great colour, it’s very sturdy offering all round protection, it does not hinder the trackpad use and all ports are accessible. A much nicer option than the brittle plastic snap on covers available and classier looking. I would have loved it in full real leather, but that’s just me.

This item looks and feels quality. Fits my new MacBook Air like a glove. Would recommend this item especially at the special offer price.
