I love my shower stool,
I love my purchase of the shower stool. I had bi lateral hip surgery a year ago and still have trouble getting in and out of my shower. I have a claw foot tub and it fits perfectly in the tub so I can enjoy my shower and not be afraid of falling, it is so easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I am very heavy (over 200 lbs) and it holds me great. The height is adjustable which fits any height. It was a great purchase for a great price.

Highly recommended
I repurchased after 5 years. Bought one slightly cheaper for extra shower that did not hold up any time at all. Real fall danger. This one is very stable & worth the price. Comfortable larger seat size. Eventually the plastic breaks down near top of legs, allows it to hold some water, I tip after each shower to.let it drain. But not a falling hazard.

the stool has been good. The 4 stars is because it's evident from ...
The instructions are not extremely clear about the washers, as others have noted, and the center bolt took some extra effort to get screwed in, but after I got that right, the stool has been good. The 4 stars is because it's evident from reviews and my own experience that instructions and details of quality control could be better, but for the price ti's a good stool. The initial setup went pretty smoothly, even the last bolt in the center, but when I used the stool that center bolt kept falling out, like I had stripped the threads or something, except I didn't see any shredded metal or plastic. I contacted the vendor to see if they had advice, and they suggested it wasn't put together properly and asked me to call. I have an aversion to phone calls and a tight schedule, so a few days later I took the thing apart and tested the center bolt without the legs, so that I could see it matched to the screw whole correctly. After I did this, with the legs in place I could easily get that bolt screwed in and it hasn't been a problem since.I have the legs extended to their longest. It's not the most stable stool ever, but it is super light weight and versatile, and it hasn't fallen apart or be UNstable, so functionally it is just fine. I haven't had problems with rust, though the legs do hold water. Not all of my washers fit the curved bar/leg perfectly, but that didn't prevent me from getting all of the bolts in.

Best bath stool!
After bilateral knee replacements, I needed a small stool in the tub while I showered, for those times when I wanted to relax or rest my knees. This stool was exactly what I was looking for. It is compact enough to fit in the tub, but still leaves plenty of room to move about. It is quite sturdy, leaving me no qualms about it holding my middle-aged frame. The best part is its ease of assembly. The legs attach with just five screws, and they have large, sturdy plastics wings for easy tightening. It will take only a few moments to periodically check the screws and retighten as necessary. The stool itself is lightweight, has no rough edges, and gives me no reason to worry about its use in the tub or in moving it about. Given the choices of bath stools on the Internet, I think I have chosen the very best one! I am very happy with this item!

Very happy.
Arrived quickly, thanks to Prime membership. Super easy to assemble - no tools required, just my hands. I like that it takes up less floor space than the traditional molded-plastic stools, since the legs are fairly straight, and don't flare out a lot. Seat is textured, which may not be very comfortable on a bare backside in the shower, but haven't tried it yet, since it just came last night. Seat is a good size, though, and feels very stable. I'm tall, so very pleased that the legs are adjustable. I bathe my dog in the shower, and my back always hurts if the stool is too low and I'm crunched up for a long period.

Revised from one star to three
**Edited Review** I originally gave this stool 1 star because the instructions were so unclear and not helpful at all. I do have to say that the company had excellent customer service and one person in particular, Jen, worked very hard to help me. A second stool was sent to me very quickly, sadly with the exact same instructions. I was also sent a PDF of those same instructions.Eventually, I got the stool put together and it is sturdy and functions well.I am revising my review to 3 stars because, while the product is satisfactory, the only thing the company needs to do is a simple revision of their instructions and all of the lower star reviews would probably become 5 star ones. It seems people have been having the issue of receiving the poor instructions (or no instructions at all) for quite some time and this company has been working hard to make things right with these customers, as evidenced by the comments left on some of the reviews. All that needs to be done is to have the instructions re-worked...simple as that. Hopefully the company will listen. **So far, I'm not loving this purchase. The instructions are ridiculous. There is no parts list so you can tell if you have everything you need to assemble it. I gather from reading other reviews that the 06 Arch Washer and M6Self-locking nut are no longer required because of the embedded threaded tubes in the seat. I have no idea if the 05 Arch Washers are supposed to go in curved side up or curved side down.Since I cannot even get this thing together I cannot tell if it is sturdy or serviceable.I contacted the seller's customer service link. I'm hoping between that and the question I submitted I will be able to put this thing together. Two weeks from today I am having the first of two total hip replacements and I would really like to have things in order before then. If I end up having to waste time returning this because of the crappy instructions and iffy parts, I am not going to be happy.Let's see if the sellers will help with this. If so, I will amend my review.
