I was looking for a more healthy natural treat than dentastix which my dog seems addicted to as if they’re made of doggy crack!These fish stick are chunky square lumps of fish skins and bits and bobs that my dog utterly loves, and being made of whole skins, she cannot just wolf it down, she has to chew them and it takes her a good 5-10 mins to eat a whole one! Sometimes she doesn’t quite manage to finish it either and she’s a 1 year old lab!Do they smell? Yes as they’re literally just raw fish!. But it’s not as bad as you think. It doesn’t permeate the house or seem to get into the furniture or carpet etc so really not too bad!I highly recommend these!

My dogs loves these but they are way too expensive for what they are. I'm mean come on, it's fish skin that would normally go to waste anyway. I buy them now and again when they are around £11 but even then that's steep and there's only 4 - 5 regular sized ones per packet. Great for giant breed dogs.

Whilst these appear to be expensive for what they are, they really do last a long time. It took my Sheltie, who is larger than average, just over an hour to chew one stick. He thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm sure his teeth are looking better now since having these. I only give him one a week though rather than one a day as it would just be too expensive otherwise.

This is the first time we have bought these. They are bigger than I thought. They do smell a bit fishy but nothing I can't cope with. As for my dog, she LOVES them. She's a powerful chewer and has made quite short work of the first stick but as Miss Destructo-dog can demolish a bully stick in 10 minutes I'm not surprised. A more normal chewer might find these last much longer than half an hour. She likes them so much I will be buying more.

Easily confused with the fish twists with the same colour packaging I annoyingly ordered these dental sticks. You get 5 in a pack (with the twists you get ~13) and they are much larger. My dog will still destroy them in about 15 minutes, but the difference is with these sticks he leaves fish skin scattered all over the living room, whereas with the twists he leaves no trace. Would highly recommend Skippers as a brand I just don't rate this product compared to the twists (and less good value for money if you give the dog one a day).

This is the first time I've purchased this product - Two points that I should have given more thought to isthe smell/scent is very fishy, the chews unravelled quite easily my greedy dogs eat so quickly they try to swallow large items in their mouths - But let me say My Frenchies absolutely loved them and wouldn'tlet me take them off them, so it was a little bit of a Buster Keaton chase around the house to retrieve the chews.The bottom line is the whole family and the two dogs ended up in the utility, watching Skylar & Bluebell devour these chews they sounded like a couple of wolves, not sweet little girly Frenchies. !!!!

A good chew for the dog. Can be a little smelly when he has chewed it a bit.

My dogs love fish so snapped both fish chews made by Skipper. They are natural chunky & smelly. Both the dogs have to chew daily: dental chews last about 6 seconds. Dogs love these but they are gone within a few seconds. So still searching for a long lasting chew suitable for large bulldog breeds. Nothing beats a good marrow bone and the goodness from these are beneficial to the dogs. However vets are not keen in the event there is an accident. Cat gut lasts but makes them thirsty, anyone know the solution? Skipper's products are very attractive but not suitable for large breeds unfortunately.
