I struggled with rating this product. Some points on the lights were very good... some pretty bad...The quality of the effect is extremely good. The light wavelength is not as low as the 465nm lights... so, it gives off a purple glow. However, the effects that I had painted in florescent paint glowed very brightly. I put two of these lights in my front yard 50' x 20'. It lit up the yard very well. I was able to replace a ton of smaller lights that I had accumulated over the years.The quality of the packaging was terrible... and the interior of the light is not very robust. I had to order and return three shipments of this product in order to get 2 working lights. The lights are boxed without really any padding. The product boxes were all damaged (inside the exterior Amazon package). On the lights that were damaged, the control and power mechanisms inside the light broke free and severely damaged the thin (flimsy) metal light reflector. I have attached photos to better illustrate this issues.Interestingly, this year I also purchased from a lighting store a $160 465nm light that was only 20 watts. The lights in this review compare favorably to the very expensive light that I purchased. The Lysed lights had more visible purple (as to be expected)... but lit up the decorations MUCH more than the expensive light (60w vs 20w)... So, the lysed had really good bang for the buck so to speak.So, while I gave only 3 stars, I did keep the lights...

We were super excited about these lights, even built stands for them - when they arrived they worked great & our Halloween decorations looked awesome.Only to our surprise - not even a full month using these "waterproof" lights, three of the four no longer work. To think after we purchased they actually had the nerve to raise the price on these units!I am returning them (both sets) for a full refund as the exchange won't arrive until after Halloween.Made in China, they don't last, buyer beware!!!!

I ordered 4 of these lights. On one of the lights (4) circuit board screws had all either come out or not been connected. I had to take the light apart and screw it together. On a 2nd light it stopped working once I attached it to a ceiling and it was upside down. Sometimes it turns on, most the time it doesn't. These lights also get extremely hot on the back when plugged in longer than 30-60 minutes and come labeled as outdoor use only, however they are clearly advertising these as being able to be used in doors in this listing.

Plug the lights in, decorated my field and FRUSTRATEDLY watch each fall victim to a sudden, unexplainable death. The circuits work but it appears the led board quit. I’m down three and wondering if 1) but some others in hopes they could get here just to plug the in to die or 2) spirt work black lights. Spirit Halloween is right down the street. A buddy suggested these and I noticed he didn’t have them out this year…. But local

These are advertised as rated for outdoor use. I had 4 break on me being lightly used outside for my Halloween display. One went out, I contacted a main and was replaced fast and easy, replacement went out day later, then next week the other one went out. Got a refund, bought 2 new ones with high hopes, and then one of those also broke. Product is great when working, if you can keep it working that is.

They are large maybe 11 x 12 inches or so. They are bright enough to illuminate a good area. The housing is waterproof so they can be used outside.

Bought 6 of these to light up my elaborate Halloween display on my porch. Within 2 weeks every single light stopped working. By Halloween my decorations were invisible at night, the effort was wasted. Total junk. Do not buy. You will regret it.

We used one for my daughter's college dorm room. And the second for kid's parties and social events. It works great with UV body paint and glow in the dark items. We will also use them for Halloween effects. It is nice that it is water-proof so we can use it outside at night. Solid construction and really bright.
