Fascinating take on things...
I like what they did here, not completely what I had expected, but for a 50 page book it was really good. It started off deeper than I thought it would and almost seemed like there was a lot more they could have explored because of it. But hey pulled back a little to service the main story. Almost seems this should have been a 3 part series, first to show the origin and flesh it out more, 2nd to move ahead into who “Bruce Wayne” the adult was and was turning into, 3rd to show why he needed to be something better, to be a real symbol. But they packed it into one book, and all considered they did a great job, but it left some room to be fantastic that was not quite met.

Good alternate thought idea.
I liked it, but it wasn't the most glamorous dialog, despite its length. The art is compelling, but not my favorite. A good for it's time book.

Great otherworld
I enjoyed the little glimpse into a world with a Batman/Superman that was as noble and true as the Superman we are familiar with, and one that maintained the Batman outlook and internal struggle between justice and vengeance.

Loved it!
What if Kal El had been adopted by the Waynes? Can Thomas and Martha help him become the Superman we all know and love? Or will tragedy condemn him to a life as a vengeful vigilante? This elseworlds story takes the best of both characters and crafts a story that does justice to them.

Beautiful cover and packaging was superb
I've bought a few comics from online stores and a lot of them have come in bent or just not very good packaging. This comic however was bend proof and was even delivered early which is always nice. The comic itself has some truly stellar artwork and is a great addition to my dc comics collection. Superb service and an amazing comic.

One of My Favorites
Very entertaining and well written. Manages to be both a great Superman and Batman story at the same time. The blending of "Clark" and Bruce plays really well, and I love Lois' influence on Bruce (the necessity for love and power, not just power). My only wish is that they stretched out this story. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome, but there were so many other "What-Ifs" to play with that it would've been interesting to see how SuperBatman would handle such things as other villains, the Justice League, etc. But, I'm not gonna complain. I'm just going to say I'm grateful for this thought-out and enjoyable Elseworlds addition, and you should definitely check it out.

Love Esleworlds!
This was an amazing story, both as a fan of Superman, and Batman! I've been reading comics for years, and the more of the Mythos that I know the more I appreciate Esleworlds stories like these. The story is told in such a way that you don't really need any information beyond the basics that the character of Superman did not originally land in Gotham, and the Fallout from that small changing events creates a very emotional, dark, and rewarding version of the Batman. The story is perfectly self-contained, and ends in a very satisfying way, even if the final costume isn't my favorite haha. Not to spoil anything, but though he was well written, the new Joker was not my favorite; his involvement doesn't hinder the story, however, and suits the direction the story takes. This book was easily a contender for my favorite story within the elseworlds brand, an absolute must read for fans of Superman and Batman

I thought this was a good view of what the Man of Steel would have ...
All in all, I thought this was a good view of what the Man of Steel would have become had the Waynes found him instead of the Kents. I wonder if the writer had seen Tim Burton's Batman, because there appeared to be certain influences of that movie on the plot (for instance, like Jack Napier, Luthor feels liberated by his transformation into the Joker). The only problem is that the concept would've worked better as a miniseries than a one-shot, and "Bruce" never finds out about Krypton..

the dark side of heroism
I expected it to be longer but otherwise its an interesting view of superman as a traumatized rage filled vigilante rather than the boy scout we kbow a.d love

Pretty awesome!
After reading all Batman Elseworlds books, I learned about this story. I had to read it, and it didn't disappoint. A pretty awesome take on Bruce Wayne (or Kal-El?). It's collected in the Superman Elseworlds books, but it could have been a part of the Batman books just as well.
