Have 5,300 miles on my 2019 x3 running 195 hp with the Evo chip. Put this belt on at 500 miles and just for piece of mind I put a new one on every 1,000 miles. When I change them you physically can’t see any wear or anything that would cause any concern. I had a 2015 120hp XDS that ate belts, I wish I would have had one of these bad boys to put on that one. But my X3 I drive hard, 50-55mph up the face of Sand Mountain from a dead stop, I ride all day in over 100 degree outside temp pushing my belt constantly to 150 degrees and have had absolutely no belt issues! This thing is the #1 thing you should change first on any machine in my opinion, all my buddies that have changed don’t even worry about that there temp gauge anymore. I’ve seen on you tube where they’ve blown these up, but I do a proper break in and like I said I change it every 1,000 miles just for insurance, now have over 5k on the machine and the ONLY thing I’ve done other than proper maintenance is I changed those little buttons on the clutch basket that keeps the slop out and keeps things tight. This belt is the real deal!
