Works great, if used correctly
•Dog hadn’t gone to the bathroom in hours. Took him to the sprayed area. Nothing. By lunchtime of second day he was using the right spot.•It’s not a magic bullet. You have to combine it with training.• Yes it smells. It’s supposed to, that’s the point. I use it outside. If using inside, I’d spray extremely lightly (your dog can smell it just fine) and put it in the far corner of the house. Goofy reviews are acting like it’s the worst smell over. It’s not that bad, and again it’s a training tool, til your dog knows the expectation, it’s not a forever thing

So disappointing, useless
I tried this multiple times to train my rescue to go at one spot in front of my house. He never even noticed the smell, even after resorting to spraying it while he was with me for our regularly scheduled walk. It didn't matter of I sprayed all over, just spots, a while before our walk, just before, or during. No response. What a waste of money, especially considering you are required to order a minimum of 2 and they're not returnable. I'm pretty annoyed, as I have had great faith in the company up until now.I decided to keep the bottles in the garage bc they smell through the plastic. Initially I was afraid to keep them inside, or even the box it came in inside, for fear it would interest him in peeing inside. But nope...

Did not work for me and my little one.
Didn't work for us. Matter of fact the smell was so horrendous that I ended up throwing out the grass mat that I had used it on. I will stick to the old-fashioned method of making sure she gets outside in time.

Works well, but yes.. it does stink
It's a bit mindblowing that people are leaving low reviews for a product designed to entice a dog to go potty. It's not exactly a mystery that this may smell. Wild dogs would learn to go in select places by smelling where their mother goes and other pack members. So yes, it has a strong odor. But it works, and it works very well. If you have a dog that's struggling to potty train this may help. It doesn't take a lot. Just a tiny spritz. I'd suggest using it in a well ventilated area due to the smell. Works well on potty pads and outside as well.

The smell is 1000% times worse then puppy pee
We bought this for our 8 week old puppy to help learn to house train. I could smell the product before I even opened the amazon box becausea. It had leaked out into the box and made everything else in my shipment smellb. Oh my goodness it smells horrible!!!!The smell is so strong that just one pump of what was left of it stunk up our whole house. It’s not like puppy pee; it stings your nostrils and make your eyes water. I washed my hands several times before the smell would come off.

Horrible lingering stench that does NOT work!
Smells like old animal pee and just as hard to get rid of the smell! This product not only did not attract the dogs to it, it repelled them ( and my kids too). I sprayed a tiny spritz on a dog pad and low and behold my entire house reeked of this putrid vile embarrassing odor! This stuff is so strong i could not store it in my house so i put it in the shed until trash collection day! waste of money but probably great for a GAG literally!

Stinks but it works!
My coworker and I each adopted 5 month old lab puppies and it was clear from the start that they had been pee pad trained and were not fully housebroken. In a week they went from being scared to go outside to being okay with going outside. However they would not go potty outside. As soon as they came back in, no matter how long they were walked/left on the lead they would immediately go potty inside. I'm writing this 5 days since delivery and we have had no accidents. The only exception being just now I let her out of the crate after work and she started to have an accident, stopped long enough for me to carry her outside and finished going potty outside so she knows to go outside which is amazing progress. My coworker is still having issues with her puppy but she just ordered this stuff after I've had such success in so little time. The only negative I have to say is this stuff stinks. It smells awful, like cat pee mixed with essential oils. It makes my yard stink for a few hours. But it works so I can deal with it while we're potty training.......now if only this stuff worked for toddlers lol.

Don't listen to those complaining of smell
This product is intended to house break your pet and contains pheromones, powerful stuff. My puppy was taking forever to do her duties, either #1 or #2, and avoiding going one if she went the other. Second I put this stuff down outside in a specific spot, she went both. I was waiting up to 30 minutes in the middle of the night waiting for her to go. This was a lifesaver, as she immediately went and no more wasting time. She also got the message instantly that I wanted her to go fast with clicker training, as she got a treat immediately, and more importantly got to instantly go indoors in 30 degree winter weather after going both. Indoors and smell? Yes it's strong, and why you should thoroughly follow instructions as indicated in the back of the bottle. It says to use a very small amount, in a space no more than 3" in diameter, and have your dog smell it there. Eventually you will not need it. You may need to wash your hands with an enzyme cleaner after if you get some on your hands, and store the bottle in a ziplock bag to keep the small from permeating your home. Pretty straight forward, and not sure why those complaining of the smell didn't think of that or what the product would smell like given its description.
