I've been using LA Looks hair gel for 20+ ... maybe even 30 years. We'll just say it's been a very long time. I like the green gel - just the right amount of hold and it smells good. I've used the yellow gel and it's a bit too stiff, so I've always gone back to the green gel. Except for now! It seems like I can't find the green gel anywhere, so I thought I'd try the blue gel. It's the same brand, LA Looks. Same bottle too. This gel is a bit stiffer than the green gel, but it's not hard like the yellow gel. Maybe because it's a sport version? It smells different than the green gel. Nothing bad, just different and maybe a bit more "sporty", if that makes sense. The cost of this is the same as the old green gel (before it got hard to find). So for the money, it works well and I'll continue using it. I hope they don't stop making this one or they bring the green gel back.

I have long curly hair. I have used this gel for 30+ years. I've used other products on and off but always come back to this! If you want a good hold (curl cast) for your curly hair then this is great!

This batch does not coat hair as well as previous bottles of this product. I find myself applying much more gel to my hair only to have it not hold as well. The product still works just not as well as previous batches. I’ve been using this product for many many years. I could apply a small amount the size of 2 quarters to my hair and brush through it 30 minutes later and it worked perfectly.

I bought the four pack because my grandkids use it more than anybody else. Great hair gel.

A good product for holding hair in position.
