Strawberry Glucose Gels in 3-Packs by Transcend (1)

This gel works quickly and effectively to raise low blood sugar. The taste is very sweet but not terrible. Have used in an emergency situation and was able to raise sugar to a more normal level without having to seek care. (I am not a doctor so always consult your doctor first!)

Have used in the past they work great if you a hypoglycemia. After emptying a pouch to balancing your system takes about 5-10 minutes, its not immediate. It is faster than a coke or juice.

Does the job. Like all glucose gels, it’s a little thick and taste is mild. And it’s more compact than fruit snacks and juice boxes

I have type 1 diabetes and these have really helped when I’ve been out kayaking and hiking. The perfect amount of carbs and my sugar stayed even without spikes or crashes!

Does the job, but tastes like a strawberry that you threw out in your suburban road on a hot summer day, let the neighborhood kids bike over it, your neighbor Dave drive over it, and left it out there for three days. Vaguely roadkill strawberry.

These taste great and re perfect for my T1D son’s really low blood sugars. We use glucose tabs or fruit snacks for regular lows but when he’s extremely low these are all we reach for to get him up quick and stop him from crashing back down.

I used one just this morning for low blood sugar. The flavor was great. The gel worked fast. Not sure if it is worth the price though.

all I can really say is that it really works, and it works very very quickly which is what I need as an athlete.
