CTLAMP Original BHL-5009-S BHL5009S Projector Lamp OEM Bare Bulb Inside with Housing Compatible with JVC DLA-RS1 DLA-RS2 DLA-RS1U DLA-RS2U DLA-HD1 DLA-HD10 DLA-HD100 DLA-HD1WE DLA-RS1X DLA-VS2000

I purchased this lamp on March 1, 2021 for my Pioneer Elite PRO-FPJ1. The lamp failed on Jan 10, 2022 after only 648 hours of use. I was very pleased with the lamp up intil it just suddendly cut off, and my projector went into an error state. I thought maybe the projector had just overheated, because this was the first time we had had it on for a very long time (10 hours). I shut off the power to the projector and tried again the next day. I immediately got the same error state, and the lamp never turned on, nor did the projector fan. I then took the lamp out and replaced it with my old one, which had not failed but has a lot of hours on it. The projector and lamp operated normally (sigh of relief). Just as a second check, I swapped the lamps again and got the same result. I don't know if if it's just coincidental, but I find it interesting the lamp failed the first time I had the projector on for a long period of time. I could not detect any issues with the lamp from a careful visual inspection. I cannot recommend this lanp, as I have gotten over 2000 hours without failure from other lamps I have purchased. This was probably my 4th replacement lamp.

Bought it in December 2019. In March 2020, the lamp prematurely failed inside the projector. The positive is that the warranty folks replied promptly and are going to replace it for free.UPDATE: I received a replacement bulb in the mail from the company.

Took a risk and bought this lamp to replace an original JVC lamp for the JVC DiLA HD-1 (RS-1 in US). When the lamp arrived, I carefully compared it to the JVC lamp and although the quality of the fittings was much cheaper, the dimensions were identical. It took 30 seconds to replace the lamp and it just slid in without issue. It has over 200 hours on the lamp now and so far I have not seen any issues with color temperature or hot spots.

This is my third CTLamp bulb purchase, and I'm getting reasonable hours out of these bulbs. The fit and brightness is excellent and is comparable to the original JVC bulb. Customer service is great. They took care of me when I had a minor issue.

The lamp lasted less than 100 hours.

Much sharper picture and a better price that I’ve gotten from other lamps I’ve bought for my JVC.

Worked great and easy to install in my JVC projector.

Over heated in some reason????????
