Best small goal ever!!!
I coach select soccer and first saw these goals at a 3v3 tournament we were attending and fell in love with them! They are WAY nicer than Pug goals (or similar pop-up models) because they act and look more like real goals. While Pug-style goals go up and down faster and are lighter, Pugs are harder to store and unless you buy the weighted models, are far less effective at "staying put" during a session. Plus many Pug-style goals start to loose their shape over time.I also don't know a single soccer player who would chose a Pug-style goal over a Bownet to shoot at - Bownets are mini-goals! The 3x5 goal is perfect for small sided games from 3v3 to 6v6 and we use them for pickup for up to 10v10.I personally don't waste time anchoring them down which gives me more flexibility during a training session and the bottom bar is more than enough to keep them in place for all but the most powerful youth/teenage shots. It really takes a heck of a shot to tip them over and it has to be a high or rising shot to even have a chance. If them flip, it's a second flip them back up and windy days on hard ground isn't a problem for these goals, you won't be chasing them. They have been in service for about four and a half years and have seen a lot of use from both youth and adult soccer players. They go up and down easy - my players can assemble them and disassemble them (except for the push button locking of the bottom frame, the kids aren't strong enough to operate these).I have the older style nets part of the net forming the loop to hook onto the fiberglass posts but the new ones have a nice reinforced plastic catch. I haven't had problems with my loops (knock on wood) to date. One of my fiberglass posts started to split at the bottom a year ago but was easily repaired with a urethane glue.Would have liked them to come with a single bag big enough to carry two nets. I used to use the single bags to carry both but they eventually wore out because of their shape (generally about 3-seasons with each bag - 1.5 years but they were frayed and a mess by the end of the second season). Had my mother-in law make me a heavier weight fabric that was bigger and more like a square tube which holds both without a problem and have been in service for three seasons and show no sign of wear. These nets are heavier than a Pug goal to lug around (in particular two of them) but I sling them over my shoulder and carry them like a rifle. If a player doesn't know better and wraps the net around the frame when putting them away, unwraping the net is almost always a pain because it gets caught on too many things - I just put the frame in the bag first and drape the net in over them and never have a problem.Tad expensive but for me well worth it!

I coach both U9 and U6 soccer and this is a good size for many different ages
I purchased the 4x8 Bow net. I coach both U9 and U6 soccer and this is an good size for many different ages. I purchased from Amazon but you can buy this directly from Bow Net. The overall design is good, easy set up and take down, seems to have good stability even without much weight. This is made in China, as is most everything. But I do expect better quality materials in this price range. The nylon sleeves used for the front post guides is very thin, cheap material. Come on Bow Net! Use better materials and this review would be excellent. Be mindful, this is not a net that you should be setting up and leaving exposed to the elements. It will quickly ruin the already weak materials used in this net.Overall, its an excellent design and I do like it. However, it looses rating stars because of the poor materials used in its construction and lack of any written directions.Includes carry bag, two ground stakes, net, frame, corner posts.

Breaks easy
I was excited to use this product, However within the first two weeks the netting is starting to bust, and after a few shots in no longer clicks into position. We have to fix it every time someone shoots.C

Super nets.
I bought two for indoor in a gym. They set up in a few minutes. Extremely sturdy. The metal base is heavy and solid. It hardly moves when hit. My kids take them down for me. The frame unfolds quickly. You insert the 4 posts then hook the net to the poles. The 4 x 8 size is perfect for indoor and will be great for outdoor too. Been coaching soccer for 25 years. Best thing i ever bought.

Get what you pay for.
Great design. Still baffling how good it holds up to powerful shots with just (2) ground pegs!! Superb product.

Durable, Portable and Functional...well made and easy!
Awesome goals. I play 5 times a week and our group uses them at least 1-3 times during that week. We have used on grass fields and sand at the beach and the goals have held up nicely. They are easy to set up and break down and super durable. These are the best portable goals I've used. Highly recommend them for all soccer players, coaches, and teams!

Great goals for training
These goals are great! Very easy to set-up, breakdown and transport. They are becoming increasingly popular by our local club for practicing and for 3v3 league games. They are much more convenient to transport and use than other nets and do not blow over on windy days. I was disappointed with the condition of one of my nets upon delivery. There was a small creased dent in both the long arms of the bottom of the net where it appeared to be dropped during transport. The net still functions adequately, but disappointing needless to say.

Doesn't Hold up...but hopeful?
I liked the goal, seemed to be good quality and works well once set up. My problem with this is that I have now owned it for a year (with minimal use, just my son occasionally using for goal practice in back yard, and the netting material holding it to the frame has completely deteriorated. It has now actually fallen from the frame.I would have thought for this money I would have had more life and durability to it.I am looking for warranty info on line, which i don't see on amazon, and am hoping they will do something. Well see. If so, I will edit the posting.Post amendment 4-29-2014.I contacted Bownet and was promptly answered by either the CEO or admin. Regardless, they were kind enough to ship me out a free replacement net less postage. Definitely fair. Promblem is that the rear fiberglass pole had become so brittle that when I tried to replace the net, it easily snapped with minimal pressure. Now I'm trying to purchase a replacement pole and cannot seem to get their website for accessories to work. Ive sent them an email and am still hopeful.
