Gingher8 Inch Featherweight Bent Trimmers, Industrial Pack (6580NS-8)

I love these scissors! Same high quality as the regular Gingher shears, just significantly lighter. These are incredibly light weight, which is great when you are using them for hours at a time (I use them for cutting fabric pieces for quilting). I own two pairs, and use them every day, and they have stayed sharp without having to sharpen them. I've also dropped them numerous times on my tile floor and they haven't chilled on nicked in the slightest! the featherweights certainly aren't as powerful as my Gingher dressmaker shears, but they are a fraction of the weight, and still extremely sharp (even after a year of daily use).

I absolutely love these scissors. I use them whenever I go to glass surfboards. I have to cut 4oz and 6oz fiberglass cloth and these things fly through it like a knife through hot butter. The best part is that they leave a nice clean cut and the ends aren’t all fraying. I would recommend these things to anyone from surfboard glassers or people tryna cut any cloth.

I’d had a pair of these for years but loaned them to my daughter in law when she was cutting fabric (with very dull scissors) for face masks during start of Covid pandemic. I knew she would love them so I gifted mine to her and ordered myself a new pair.These scissors stay sharp, are lightweight and easy on the hands. Should not be used by children!!! Too sharp!

I've been using these scissors for years and love them. They are still as sharp as the day I bought them and make cutting fabric so easy. I just ordered them for my sister who is just starting to sew. They are very lightweight but cut through fabric like butter. And my hands never get fatigued when using them.

I had a pair of these wonderful scissors but a student dropped them on the cement floor and severely damaged them. I did a quick search on Amazon and was delighted to find the exact scissors were available and affordable! They arrived in two days. Equally fantastic cutting and trimming for precision sewing dance costumes. They are light and fit easily in my hand.

I mainly use Gingher for my sewing needs as they make THE BEST fabric shears. If that is why you are buying these you will be very disappointed. However I just needed a new pair of scissors for my office (cutting paper, opening packages, etc) and they work great. Very lightweight, photo makes them look like metal but they are indeed plastic, and sharp enough to cut everything I've tried. I don't see them lasting a long time but my wrist is thankful for their weight.

Cuts light fabric well, and is very light. So if you use trimmers all day, or have hand problems, this will aid with hand fatigue. Won't cut tougher materials though, and has a generally cheap feel to it. It should use a stronger plastic like delrin to be up to Gingher standards.If you want a good pairs of cutters that will last a lifetime, get some original stainless steel Ginghers. This pair will most certainly break after several years.3 stars instead of 1 since they would work well for someone who cuts light fabric for long periods..other than that I would not recommend.

I love these scissors. No more worrying about if they will cut without manipulation. These cut exactly as you need them to.

I love the look, grip, and feeling of these scissors. The blades are sharp. I bought them for everyday purposes and don’t use them for cutting fabric. They’re perfect for me.

Seems good, but very light. Haven’t tried to use it yet
