I have a 96 Honda Civic hatchback as per the totle this would fit but i know they changed the lights in 99-00 i didn't know if these would fit

They will fit any EK hatchback, you have to move over your tail light harnesses to these, but other than that, they fit. The studs are a little tight going in, but they do line up.
