So Much Ink!
Peggy from River Styx Publishing knows her business and was very helpful and knowledgeable about these inks. They were shipped quickly and any questions or concerns I had were promptly addressed. These inks are such a great bargain compared to other ink prices, you'll have more than you'll know what to do with and could help refill friend's and neighbor's cartridges for blocks around. It's also great that it's universal dye ink, so no worries. From what I've read, I THINK dye inks can go into cartridges/printers meant for pigmented ink, but not the other way around. You Cannot put pigmented inks into cartridges/printers meant for dye inks without quickly and permanently clogging them. Also, universal inks Should be able to take the greater heat that is required in printers such as HP and Lexmark. I do not have those at the moment so cannot test the heat ability of these inks. I do have some Epsons which requires Less heat, and have heard that slightly diluting thicker inks or just using them as they are, are fine with Epsons. I'll have to see what neighbors have. :) Stored in a plastic lined box in a dry, cool place away from sunlight, these bottles should last years and years. I think what happens over a long period of time is that they gradually lose vibrancy, though newer inks are supposed to be more fade resistant.I also like buying from the orginators of a product, so River Styx are the ones I went with. A great buy.

Excellent Refill Inks!
These standard water-soluable inkjet refill colors are, as far as I can tell, faithful to the original image, with pleasing color for all purposes. I haven't done any critical color tests on these, as my needs for color accuracy are not that important, and it would not be fair to River Styx Publishing to color test their inks in a refilled cartridge.I can sometimes refill my color and black HP inkjet cartridges up to 10 times. I also have a large 13"x19" format HP inkjet printer, with external ink tanks. So finding re-fill inks in 16-ounce bottles is a definite plus. And I save megabucks in the process.River Styx Publishing doesn't mention it in their product description, but it's an important point out that the inks are formulated as standard ("PhotoColor - UV Dye") inkjet inks, and not photo inks ("UltraColor - Photo Pigment"). So you might want to specify to River Styx Publishing what inkjet application you will use their inks for, if your specific process is unusual, so they can ship you the appropriate inkjet inks, although the standard inkjet inks they shipped me are satisfactory, and pretty much generic for many inkjet cartridges. The ink dyes (PhotoColor - UV Dyes) are also resistant to fading in direct sunlight, although River Styx Publishing advises their inks need to be stored away from direct sunlight. But I won't use their supplied hypodermic syringes, as the needles are only a press-fit, and do not screw on. And this can be a messy disaster if and when the needle suddenly pops off, squirting ink all over the place, and contaminating the inkjet cartridge. This has actually happened to me. I prefer to wash out and reuse ink squeeze bottles, with screw-on needles.I also won't use sharpened-pointed needles, as they will puncture the delicate ink bladders inside some inkjet cartridges. Real inkjet cartridge refill needles have blunt-flat ends, so as not to damage the internal ink reservoirs. So there's no need for sharpened needles, unless you're a junkie. Here are the specific categories of ink refills that River Styx Publishing seems to offer, and the ink bottles they ship out are marked accordingly:Type of Inkjet Printer:Epson, HP, Canon, Brother, Lexmark, Dell, and Wide-FormatSpecific Inks:HydroColor (Dye)PhotoColor (UV Dye) *** standard for most inkjet printers, on white, uncoated paper.PermaColor (Matte Pigment)UltraColor (Photo Pigment)SubliColor (Sublimination)Refill tips: - Don't leave the inkjet cartridge outside of the printer for very long, as the microscopic inkjet pores will soon dry and clog up. The inkjet cartridge print heads are actually capped airtight, inside the inkjet printer, whenever it's not printing, to prevent the inkjet pores from drying up. - Refill your inkjet cartridges before they run dry. Heed the "low cartridge" warning on your computer monitor. - Freshly refilled inkjet cartridges usually drip inks through the inkjet pores (kind of messy), until the cartridge settles down and behaves properly. Simply blot the excess inks with a dry paper towel, until the flow stops, before putting the cartridge back into the inkjet printer. This is important, since a still-dripping inkjet cartridge will foul up the insides of your inkjet printer. - The fine, microscopic pores, in the inkjet cartridge head, are best cleaned with a paper towel, moistened with tap water. - Stubborn inkjet cartridges that don't print properly, or were allowed to dry out, can sometimes be resurrected by pouring about 1/4-inch of tap water in the bottom of a coffee cup, and leaving the inkjet cartridge, with inkjet pores down, overnight. Blot with a dry paper towel, before installing back in the inkjet printer. - Inkjet inks are easily washed off the hands with one or two spray applications of Windex, followed by a drop or two of dish detergent and tap water. Some ink stain will remain, in the skin, but that usually wears off after about 8 hours or so.

At first I thought this didn't work!
At first I thought this didn't work. I used a method of refilling the cartridge I found on youtube. The first method required you to drill a whole where they ink would go. That method did not work for me so I was ready to ship it back cause my printer would not print with the ink refill. I kept getting ink error code. So then I decided before sending it back let me search error code for the refillable ink replacement and I found a different video that said do not use that drilling a hole in the cartridge method cause it will not work and it showed a different method of how to take the top of the cartridge itself off and refill it that way and it said once that is done and you put the cartridge back in the printer that you can just ignore the printer errors and print anyway. so I cleared the error on my printer by turning it off and back on and what do you know even though my printer still said low ink. it printed with no issues....So I was shocked that it really worked. as much as one cartridge of ink cost it would have been cheaper to buy a new printer. But this product provides you with enough ink to last for months cause a typical cartridge only took one 10ml syringe full of black and even less for the 3 different color ones, which didn't even put a damper in the amount that was left in the bottle. With that being said so far I'm very pleased with the product.

Good quality ink, works well, great value
This ink is good, I use printers with refillable reservoirs and I save a lot of money. I do a lot of color printing, and my printing costs are very low now. This ink performs just as well as the more expensive ink with the brand name like my printer. I am very happy with my purchase and will order this ink again.

64oz 4 Pint / 16 Oz B/c/m/y Ink Kit Refill
I have only used the yellow at this point, but it worked great! The only problem I had was my cartridge was so low it dried up. After filling the yellow, it still would not print. I soaked the head of the print cartage in 99% alcohol and agitated it for 30 minutes. This fixed the problem and now the yellow works! At 64 oz of ink, and the rate at which I print things, this will last me a lifetime!

Good price Quality..eh
The value of the quantity is fantastic. I am however disappointed in the vibrancy of the colors when printing on basic copy paper. Colors are diluted. However when I printed on photo paper the yellow and red were good. The magenta and Cyan blue were weak.
