I am trying to learn Spanish by reading this because I am so familiar with the English version. This follows along very well and seems like a good translation. The text font is a little darker and easier to read than the English version. It doesn't have any illustrations for the chapter headings, which makes it a teensy more difficult to find your place or a chapter. As far as the subject matter and writing, this is one of the greatest series ever written. This modern fairy tale is truly some of the best contemporary literature--a wonderful package of many wise insights and life lessons. This is coming from someone who has read Moby Dick six times. These books even provided comfort right after my father passed away. I feel like they should be required reading in school.

Don't get me wrong here this is an expensive book but justified the cost as I am learning Spanish so I can say my vows in Spanish when I get married. Buy it read it then put it on your shelf
