I bought these about 4 years ago, I have long thin hair and wore these every day to work. I just broke my last one and will be getting a replacement. I love that my hair never pulled and it would stay in place all day. These are short and lightweight, perfect for my hair but I would not recommend it for anyone with thick or curly hair.

Yes the do work but with thick hair and bun they do bend but still work. Had them for a few months now and have not broken one yet. But will still look for something stronger.

I really like these a lot more than I thought I was. I wish I had bought longer chop sticks because I have very long hair. These still work very well and hold my bun tight. It feels much better than elastic bands that pull my hair. These are so nice. I'm thinking about purchasing more for gifts.

I love the size, style, and weight of these. They hold my hair firmly, and I can even sleep with them without them pushing out of my hair. They aren't long, and sometimes that is just what I need - a short, inasuuming put pretty stick. They feel solid, and they don't randomly slip out like other hair sticks I've used. The only thing I worry about is they will bend - if you do a tighter bun or "weave" it, the metal is a bit pliable. I worry they won't last long.. but honestly? I'd probably buy them again if they broke.. until I find ones just like them that aren't bendy. Oh, they also have a hole if you'd like to add a charm or gem. Been thinking of sticking a dangle earring that lost its pair in.

I have been searching for smaller hair sticks for awhile. I love the ease of using a hair stick to pull my hair back. I also think it is gentler on my hair. Unfortunately, I have a small head, and most sticks are too long. They jab into my neck unless I can get them placed perfectly. These DO NOT at all! I was worried when I opened them, bc they seemed a little ‘weighty’, however, they are not. I’m so pleased with this purchase. It was worth the search for the shorter length. Definitely Buy them if you are looking for a shorter hair stick.

They bent as soon as I used them. They’re not sturdy at all. My hair isn’t even that thick.

only complaint i have is the whole is just a bit to small so had to improvise a connection so i could turn them into a jewelry statement set of hair pix's

the pins were tiny, I would atleast need two to hold my hair up but I don’t know if it would be steady. the pins look large but they’re no bigger than a pointer finger. if someone has thin haie, or intends to use a couple, then it might work. for a person who has been using hair sticks for 10+ years, these didn’t work for me
