I ordered them for use in scoring bread dough with lines before baking. They aren't very sharp for that use.

These are good little knives. I’m not saying they’re Xacto quality, but for my modeling, I use them for saws, riveting tools, glue points, etc..For the price and my needs, these fit the bill perfectly.

I buy these for (adult) metal clay students. They are not used for anything heavy duty. I don't think they would hold up for anything to heavy. They are very lightweight and come unscrewed fairly easily. But for the price they can't be beat. They are perfect for me. Giving 4 stars only because they are so lightweight.

These work well but can easily unwind and the blade falls out. Not a big deal for adults but would be cautious. Good value for the money.

They seem to be good. I've only used one. The problem for me is that they are 1/4 shorter than a regular Xacto holder so the end hits just above the skin between my thumb and finger. The box had come open so most of the knives were scattered in the bubble envelope with 3 of the blades free. It is nice there are decent blade covers on the ends. If they were 1/4 longer - 5 stars even tho the box had come open.
