This item is very beautiful and well detailed, it is very solid and stand up firm. I got this item sooner than expected. I will recommend anyone to get this item without a second thought. If the seller has any other hindu god statues, i will definitely buy again without any hesitation.

I have returned the idol and want the seller to refund me for the product and shipping costs both ways. Why?Inaccurate product description and raving customer reviews( " solid brass idol"; " placed in worship place", etc.) had motivated me to buy the idol in the first place.Seller is extremely difficult to take back the return of the idol. The product photos is inadequate- the bottom portion with a hollow and the back portion of the Idol is not uploaded. Also there is no mention in the description that the presence of the pedestal in the idol does not necessarily mean that the idol is sealed from below. The issue is that a hollow idol in the Hindu religion is not suitable for worship neither for gifting as for a person of Hindu religion, a God's idol is holy, and needs to be treated as such, even if it is placed as a showpiece. One has to do the basic minimum practices of the religion, viz., fold hands and offer prayers, light a tea light or oil lamp and/or offer incense in the form of incense sticks burned in front of the idol/photo/image of the Divine spirit. That's why even idols on display has to be placed carefully, selecting a sacred spot, clean space, above ground and attended daily with minimum rituals. Display idols can be more than the mandatory 4.5" or 10" limit of placing in a Pooja place so that one does not have to do all the strict rituals from a Vedic religious text daily and can suffice by observing only the basic minimum motions of worship by a commoner. A photo can however be of any size but if displayed needs to keep the basic worship traditions to honor the deity. Only if the idol or photo is slipped into a drawer, its possible to obtain the divine presence without having to worship it on a regular basis. Just as we see the Bible or Bhagwad Gita in Hotel room drawers. So a hollow idol cannot be placed in the Pooja place, for display as a showpiece or even slipped into a drawer for the protection offered by the deity.Hence I need to return the idol. Now its his turn to display some trust and bigheartedness but he is being very unfair.
