Shattered my ankle 18 months ago, surgery both sides, plate and 9 screws. Tried walking and felt extremely wobbly even on flat ground. Mentally terrified I would shatter it again if it twisted. This brace is a godsend. Secure, comfortable. Easy to put on. Did a half hour on the treadmill and never a twinge of unease.

As a reversible product, it does not provide space for the inner ankle. Both hinged supports are parallel instead of a "V" shape. In a small size, there is no space for my foot, as the hinged supports are too close together (I wear a size 6 women's shoes and I'm quite skinny).The website should list the dimensions of this brace, not just a shoe size chart. I may have liked some other size of this brace if I would have the measurments.I'm trying to return this product as I already purchased Bledsoe hinged brace (Left ankle specific, not reversible). It was more expensive but fits much better. It also has 2 buckle closures so you don't need to undo the velcro every time you take it off. There are countless adjustment possibilities on the Bledsoe brace from extremely swollen ankle to everyday athletic usage.

Oh my gosh this thing REALLY helped my ankle. Hurt ankle doing exercise...heard crunching, ankle rolls anyhow but now it hurt, was weak and made me limp. I have custom orthotics and this fits great under it. This brace provided INSTANT support and comfort...INSTANT! I did errands for several hours first time I wore it and was great. Truly helped it heal by quieting the movement and letting the inflammation settle down.

Hi, I've been using the brace while playing volleyball for several months now. The support is very good. The brace is also more comfortable than some of the others I've tried. For instance I used a comparable Zamst brace for a while and this one is way more comfortable for me. The Zamst didn't come up as high and dug into the side of my leg.So far I haven't jumped up and landed on anyone's foot. When it does happen I'm confident this brace will save me from being hobbled for weeks.

I bought The Eclipse II, Volt and DonJoy Bionic. They all seemed like a really well made products. I ordered a small Eclipse II and it was just too tall for my foot. It put pressure on my ankle bone. Were I 1/4" taller to the bottom of the stirrup it probably would have been perfect. I'm a very small build. The Volt fit fine, but the stirrup is uncomfortable. The Donjoy Bionic was by far the most comfortable but I never even got to take a step in it, as the bottom strap broke off the 1st time I pulled on it.

Went with a medium and i think its jus a tad small. The "foot plate" is gigantic on this. Went with the medium cuz i need the bracing sides to be tall enough to go out of my shoe for securing and not leave it bulky. Jus barely. Strong support! I have had multiple injuries to my right foot which caused my ankle to be weak and "give out" then had a recent injury to said ankle. I wear it during my volleyball games and dont have to fear my ankle/foot anymore! I have narrow feet and high arches. Wear sizes 7.5-9.5

This rigid brace did not fit my ankle. I had several surgeries, including an artificial ankle after a bad accident. I do not blame the brace, it is well built, but pressed on my lateral malleolus. Amazon easily accepted a return, and the Active Ankle AS1 worked better for me. Go to the Acive Ankle web site and look at the great selection of braces.

This thing is a nightmare to put on and take off. When its crammed in a shoe with your foot it hurts as it digs into your skin. I wore it for 1 hour and threw it in the trash. What a waste of money.
