Overland Equipment Acadia Bag

Not as good as other Overland Equipment bags I've gotten.My biggest complaint is that there is only one water-bottle-slot on the outside. This results in the backpack feeling unbalanced when I have a full water bottle in that slot. I'm guessing that they were afraid that putting one on the other side would interfere with the laptop zipper access, but I think I'd prefer a bit of interference to the lack of balance.Secondary complaint: my other OE bags have a very, very good organizer pocket, with slots for just about everything. The one on this backpack has two good slots, and one big "pouch" for everything else. I would prefer more division. That said, it's still better than the attempts made by every other backpack I've had.So it's a decent backpack, but not as good as I would have expected from Overland Equipment.

This is my second bag from Overland Equipment. They make great products that I have gotten lots of compliments on around campus. This bag is fairly typical as far as backpacks go, but subtle touches make it a winner. The separate pocket for my laptop is great - makes it easy to pull it out quickly and put it away. The water bottle side pocket is adjustable - fits two 16oz bottles or my Nalgene. The back is well padded too which makes it more comfortable to carry around. Overall, a wonderful bag.

Great color and function. It has plenty of different pockets for storage. Also, seems to be rain resistant. Straps good quality and fair amount of padding for the days when the bag is quite heavy.

Not a bad backpack, however keep in mind that its height is at least 4 inches bigger than the one specified. I ordered it thinking of a much smaller backpack and I am not happy at all with its size. Quality and material are good but the interior is not so well organized. Knowing its real size I would have stick to my Eagle Creek Hitch which is in my opinion a better backpack with a lower price.

Great bag and the nifty laptop pouch that's separate from the rest of the bag. Also, Overlap Equipment gives you a lifetime warranty even if you bought the bag on Amazon!
