Awesome purchase. Protect those kneecaps!
So glad I got these inserts for pants that will accommodate. Soft durable and I have washed and dried them a couple times though I wouldn't do it too much. Great fit and design. Chop them to size if needed.

Good not great.
Writing this after after 3 days of installing fake wood flooring. I bought these for my carhart pants because I wanted to see if I could save 3/4 the price on the Carhart pads. Thickness is good and they do help with knee fatigue with out having the Velcro straps around the back of the knees. They also fit the width of the pocket, though they take some effort to get in. The cons: theyโre shorter than the actual carhart pads and will slip down below the knee. I found myself adjusting them up whenever I had to get up and walk around. Not a deal breaker at the cost saving and that theyโre not that hard to adjust back up. Lastly, I donโt know how difficult these will be to get out of the pockets. It was a tight fit getting them in and I imagine removing will be even tougher. Hope this helps!

Saved my Knees
These knee pads are great. Had them in for a month or so, and it is so nice when you have to bend down and do work on your knees. They are comfortable and will save your knees. What's also good is, I don't have to go and get a knee pad every time I have work to do on the floor. There built in.

Great for 2 or 3 seasons
I am a plumber apprentice and have used these only in Carhartt double knee pants. I'm skinny but have larger calves so can't use these in the "relaxed" fit pants, just the looser ones. Every older plumber I talk to regrets having not used knee pads, same with folks who do tile or flooring. You can just leave them in your double knee pants forever. Sure they add bulk when washing and just in general, but it's worth it most of the time. As we are getting into summer I won't use these anymore but will use a knee board instead until it cools off again. Now this isn't the fault of the inserts, but rather the design of most pants. On Carhartts these sit a little low, almost more like a shin guard. However they are still functional as my knee will rest on the top of the pad. I usually wear 32" length and once got some 34" pants just for a little extra ankle coverage crawling around under houses and I had to pull up the legs if I wanted the pads to protect my knees. The concept is great for 3 seasons but more effort could be put into designing the pants. Overall I highly recommend these.

Too stiff for pant knee pocket. Rubs knee cap when walking.
These pads are relatively thick and provide a level of protection to the knee. However, I found them to be too stiff and inflexible installed into my pant knee pocket. With walking, this stiffness rubbed my knee cap and was uncomfortable. I returned the item.

Good inserts but stiff
Excellent for the 5.11 pants that i personally love to wear, wanted some inserts and came across these and decided to give them a go. Firstly they do their job and after using them you barely notice them and excellent comfort. Only downside they are stiff and not very breathable causing my knee areas to feel sweaty. It may be the pants i use and the thickness as well but breathability would help a lot. They fit perfectly inside the double knee used by my 5.11 pants and the different styles of 5.11 pants i have. Like i mentioned earlier they are stiff as a board and you can see it they may need some time to break in or something but aside from that they work excellent as knee inserts for 5.11 pants!

Great cheap double knee pads.
I have these in all of my 5.11 Stryke pants. They fit and work well.

OK, but very small
They do protect against hard floors when kneeling and, unlike the carpet underlay I've been using in my Carhartt knee pockets for a while (true story), I'm happy to wash and dry them. But they're comedically small: half the height of the knee pockets, and about two thirds the width. So they don't really feel like they're reliably positioned. The search continues...

Comfortable
For the price they are a excellent choice of pads they slipped quite nicely into my cat h20 pants and do exactly what they are intended to do, protect your knees. 10/10 would recommend.

Way better then regular kneepads
I love this kneepads, fit awesome in my doublefront carhartts(and cheaper then carhartts). They kinda look weird because of how large they are and almost seems like the ride below your knee but once you kneel they are in the perfect place. In hot summer days(+37ยฐC) they were great didnt find my knees sweating horribly like with regular kneepads, and you can barely tell you have them on. Easy to wash just throw it in the wash no need to take em out

Must buy!
Was looking for knee pads for my unlined carhartt womens overalls, and was surprised at the price of them in retail stores. I didn't want to pay a lot for my first time buying knee pad inserts (incase I didn't like using them at work). These were a very great price for two, and I fit them into my carhartts. I just had to fold and wiggle them back and forth to get them in. Probably wouldn't be able to get them out without a struggle though. They've also been through the washer and dryer multiple times inside my coveralls and held up well and no issues. I'm glad I didn't buy expensive ones and will be buying these for my winter overalls.
