National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of the Ocean

This the third National Geographic book we have bought. The pictures are beautiful and bright. Each photo is accompanied by a short description and age appropriate education. Great value for such a nice hard covered book.

I was really worried about ordering this after reading some reviews that it arrived with the pages falling out but, I'm happy to say I had no issues with that. Order arrived on schedule and in great condition. I bought this for my godson who is turning six this month and is really interested in sea animals now. The pages are so vibrant and colorful and the illustrations make it even more appealing for kids. He did end up seeing the photos I sent his mom (so surprise ruined) but that made him excited so I feel good about this.👌 Update: HE LOVED IT 👍👍👍 My godson is actually able to read alot of the words on his own, which makes it even more special. He really enjoys learning facts about the animals, which keeps him curious and excited.

I got this as a gift for my five year old nephew for his birthday. He loves animals and science! I have gotten him two other books like this on different topics but lately he’s been really into ocean creatures so I thought this would be perfect. He loves it! After opening presents at his party, this was his first go to despite having tons of new toys to play with. The book is very well put together with a hard cover which will hold up to kids. The information in the book is great and definitely written for kids to understand and learn from.

My grandson loves going through this book with me. I expected from the title that it was intended for pre-schoolers. The content is probably better for early elementary kids. Nevertheless my 2 1/2 year old loves the pictures and retains the factoids, for example that krill is whale food and sea turtles eat sponges. This book has been super to spark interest in the natural world.

Bought several books from this series for my 3 year old nephew. It’s suggested for kids a little older but has plenty of pictures and stories. I’m sure he’ll enjoy these book for year to come.

I recently discovered the 'Nat Geo Kids First Book of ..' series and got them for my nephews! These are an instant hit, not just with them but with also their parents! I am myself enthralled with the quality of the book and the simple language and vivid images that jump out of the book! My 6 and 4 year old nephews love reading them out loud. These will keep you coming back and reading them over and over again! :)

Our 5 year old grandson loves this book. He knows all the sea creatures and likes that they are real looking and not pretend. He is learning the different oceans and he tells me about each creature living there. The book is advanced enough that he will continue to learn new creature details as he gets older. His mom and dad have the dinosaur book and he loves that one too.

Hours of fun and learning. . Beautiful vibrant pictures. Great price. . I am going to buy the whole set for my curious 5 year-old and I enjoy reading them with her . Great for learning to read.. . It's just a shame that there wasn't a page for the blue tang (dory from finding nemo). My daughter loves the movie finding dory and all the animals in the movie are in this book. . My daughter loved. Pointing out the animals and fish from the movie. Detailed and beautiful

My grandson just loved his First Big Book ... the book arrived in great condition and the bigger pages full of information made it an easy read.

We bought this book as a gift for our daughter. And she was very happy. We read it several times with her. The book is really informative as every big book kids series of National Geographic. We love to read them again and again. Highly recommend.
