very thin belt
Unsurprisingly disappointed. I doubted the durability when it first arrived. The material the belt is made from is very thin, feels like a sticker with the backing still on. It is very thin, a typical sheet of construction paper is thicker. I expected it to rip and it has. The buckle is very robust and seems ridiculous to be mounted on such thin material. The rip occurred under fairly conservative usage, I was wearing it while walking the dogs past dusk. It has only been used a handful of times so it's not like the material is worn thin.To its credit the material is VERY reflective. Also I was able to repair the rip with clear packing tape without any distinct reduction in reflectivity.I was in the ARMY ('00-'03) and remember these belts but I do think they were better built then (different brand?).I'd only recommend it to friends with the disclaimer about its thinness.edit 2015:It's still very reflective. But I have had to make several repairs with the clear packing tape. In cold weather (<32F) it is very rigid and rips very easily.

Reflective....not durable.
I am currently using this belt while doing my military training. It is very reflective as it should be, but not very durable. While adjusting the length the buckle catches on the edge of the reflective belt and tears. You need to be very careful with it. I will continue to use it until it is no longer usable...I will probably not purchase this belt for military purpose again. As a light use running belt it would probably do just fine.

SO FAR SO GOOD.
So far so good. I can only tell after using it for some time. Appears to be well made. Buckles are o.k. for no more stress than will be on them. The belt is too flimsy to use to use as a belt.Appearance is not always as it seems. Because of its flimsiness, it tends roll and fold when mixed with other belts and harness. Will use until it falls apart but wouldn't buy again.

UPDATE 11/29/2014: *NOT* a Poor quality product
Original comment: The first time I wore it, the belt separated at the seam where it attaches to the buckle. Hope this doesn't happen with the other one I bought. I did not have it cinched tightly, only enough to keep it from falling down.UPDATE 11/29/2014: Was contacted by the owner after I returned the one item, and he requested an opportunity to make good and prove that his product is a quality one. I accepted, and am very pleased with the quality of the product and even more so with the superior level fo customer service provided, which is a rarity at bricks-and-mortar stores, and nearly non-existent in the online world. Thank you, Stan!

Highly Reflective!
I purchased this item for attaching to my backpack when I ride my motorcycle in the pre-dawn hours. This belt is highly reflective, which is exactly what I need it to be.The belt clasp seems sturdy, and the reflective "belt" materiel seems thin, but all I need it to be is reflective.. which it is. 5 stars!

Helped me save the world
No great military mission was ever successful without the trusty old PT belt. Keeps zombies away! I haven't seen one while wearing it

You get what you pay for...
Well, at first taking out of the box not too impressed. Thin, single layer reflective belt. Time will tell if it stands up to work conditions. Work at a air base and required to have a reflective belt for "low light conditions". But, you get what you pay for...

I would recommend going with a different belt
Very poorly made. I purchased two of these to use on base during early morning walks. Both broke while adjusting the size. Neither of the people adjusting the belts tugged or pulled on the belts just very cheap design. I would recommend going with a different belt.
