Seiko 4FY8JZ Watch, strip

This divers strap comes signed with the Seiko logo. It is a little stiff, but will develop a conforming curl. I think my Seiko diver's watch looks great on this classic rubber strap. It doesn't pull, conforms to the wrist well and will hold up for years to come.

I have a Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive watch and this one closely resembles the original band. It's robust (stiff) and going to take a bit to break in but that's what I want. It looks like a true Seiko watchband. I ordered the 22mm despite the fact that the Citizen is only at 21mm. I wanted the pins to be snug inside the bands. I shaved the edges a bit with a razor.Overall a nice watchband!

Got this for my Seiko King Turtle. It's long enough for my 10.5" wrist. A bit stiffer than silicone, but this Z22 band is plenty flexible. Looks great on the wrist and attached to watch itself. Seller sent exactly was is describe and listed, unlike some other sellers on here. Ask how I know...

A copy but I knew that when purchasing. I don't believe you can get Seiko at this price. Color is good. A very small amount of injection molded flashing to be cut off. Flex is okay, not perfect at little stiffer than I wanted. Overall, good for the price. Went on a old hydro-moded Casio.

Before installing watch band on the watch, I roll each half of the band into a coil with the end of the band that does not attach to the watch on the inside. I secure the coil with plastic electrical tape. Drop the coiled bands into a cup of boiling water and let them site for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes run cold water into the cup to cool it off. I let the coiled band sit at room temp for another 10 minutes to fully cool off. Then remove the tape from the band and install on the watch. The band will be a tight coil but will relax a little after a day or so. Forming the band fits my wrist and keeps the watch from spinning to the inside of my wrist. Also the free end of the watch tucks in and lays flat on the band, keeping it from snagging things (coats, shirts, network cables, etc)

It is ok and fits the watch fine. Feel way stiffer than the traditional Seiko synthetic straps, like soft plastic you see on cheep watch bands. Not saying it not genuine Seiko, it is stamped Seiko on the back of the strap and the face of the strap has the Seiko dive logo, it just feels way stiffer. So far it is ok. I will take it on a dive trip in a couple weeks and if i have a problem with it, I will report back.

I'm ordering my second one. Most stock watch bands are too short for my wrist and this one is great and gives a little extra length. I got the first one for a Fossil watch and it turned a nice watch into a very sharp and more expensive looking watch. Just got a new Tommy Bahama watch and again the band is a little short and not exactly what I wanted. Put this strap on and pow, looks really good! Ordering a second one to replace the one I just took off the Fossil. It really does take any watch and make it look more impressive in my opinion.

Bought this band on 3/20/2023Cracks in material. Free loop cracked and fell off.Great watch but turns out to be very expensive if you have to replace the band every 6 months. Don’t waste your money. I’m buying a cheap knock off. Can’t be as bad as the original

It is an authentic Seiko diver strap except the price is high, if it is cheaper will be excellent.

Excellent product, came with the metal springs required to secure it to the watch.

Nice quality. A little wider at the watch end than I needed, but I trimmed it with a razor blade and it works well. Much cheaper than the Citizen equivalent. Very pleased with the purchase.
