I repaint some bicycle accessory mounts & use these to clean threads of paint.

Not up for taping aluminum
After tapping one hole in aluminum, the Chinese tap was worn out. I wasn't expecting much, but - come on.

Worked well for most part. Understanding nature of steel being threaded, one broke, but that is not fault of tap.

after tapping 36 holes in mild steel mine are still good. glad i got these.

Does not cut threads as it should.
This tap's threads seem to protrude too far out to cut a smooth useful tap.

Can only tap one hole in aluminum before going dull.
Wears out in one or two taps (aluminum). Not good quality.
