In my opinion this is a beautiful, decent quality bed skirt. It covers the box spring as I wanted and the ruffles do lay nicely once they have been ironed, ON HIGH HEAT. As the description states, the drop (aka ruffles) are cotton. This means they need to be ironed on a high heat setting to release the wrinkles. I used Downy wrinkle release spray and a little bit of elbow grease & the skirt came out looking just like the photo. I believe the bad reviews are based on little know how and lack of care taken. Also, I’m not sure why people are upset by the fact that the part that lays over the box spring and in between the ruffles is not cotton. That part does not need to be and also that equals less ironing. My product arrived with no flaws. It did come wrinkled, of course, because it is cotton! Wrinkles are NOT a flaw but a fact of owning an all cotton item. I am also unsure of the review that stated it tore on the bed frame even over pool noodles? I believe that to be a flaw in the frame you own not the product. I cannot speak to those who received defects on their item, that is just an unfortunate fluke. I am 100% happy with my bed skirt and so happy to have bought it for the price i did.

I got this 5-Ruffle bedskirt to go along with the Taylor 5 Piece Bedding Set that I also purchased on Amazon. I think for what you get, this is honestly a bargain. I looked on other sets for similar items and was amazed at how high the prices were for a simple ruffled bedskirt (ie: Pottery Barn Teen's Ruffle Bedskirt is currently on "sale" for $109 for a full size and it only has 3 ruffles instead of 5) Yikes! I thought because of the price that I would end up getting what I paid for and there would be some major flaw with this bedskirt, but I honestly couldn't be happier with this purchase and with the money I saved after comparing prices for similar ones online. I ordered the full size and it fit the bed perfectly. Seems like a lot of times, I order a bedskirt and end up having to do a little tucking here and a little tucking there in order to get it to lay the right, but I didn't have to fiddle with this one. I did put mine in the dryer on LOW setting with a hot, wet washcloth in order to get the wrinkles out. Anything ruffled tends to get wrinkled when it's packaged up (my bedding set was too) and that was the best solution I could come up with since I don't own a steamer and didn't want to deal with the time-consuming hassle of ironing it. I absolutely love it- just wish they offered it in other colors as well.

For the price, this piece isn't all that bad. I was kind of expecting it to be worse! I agree with the other posts that the fabric is thin. If you want a solid look, get another bed skirt to go under this one. There were a few parts that were torn away from the seam but it's not a huge deal because I can easily sew them. I was expecting the platform part to be that papery material that tears but it's actually real fabirc on this bed skirt. I ran this through the washer on GENTLE and cold water then into the dryer on super low heat for 30 min. It washed and dried just fine. I still had to iron it tho. It took me about an hour to iron all the ruffles. It looks super cute on my bed. If you are looking for a high quality product this is not for you; but this works great for my situation.

We surprised our teen daughter by redecorating her room while she was out of town for a few days at a camp this past summer. As we were putting everything in the room and rushing to get things put together I texted my Mother pictures to show her our progress. Her first comment was "where did you get that great looking dust ruffle? I love it!" I assured her it was a favorite Amazon score! It looks so pretty and perfect! Our daughter loved it too when she walked in. It just really adds such a pretty look. I was pleased with the quality. It came super wrinkly but was easy to iron thankfully...because I hate ironing. It fit great and has stayed looking nice for a few months now. We paired it with simple white down comforter. So pleased I found this on Amazon!

I bought this for my king size bed. I have ruffles going on everywhere and this skirt made a big difference once on my bed. The material is cotton and the liner is polyester. I don't agree with some buyers that say that is cheap looking. I got mine and it looked really nice. I bought my comforter from Ebay wich it was made of egyptian cotton 1000 thread count and this skirt works just perfect with it without the need of another skirt under. For the price I payed, I love it. I bought a 1000 thread count skirt for my daughters room off ebay that was more expensive and better quality but I tell you this skirt is so much cheaper and it really works. I just wish they made it in more colors so I wouldn't have to buy more expensive product elsewhere. Buy it, I recommend this product.

This dust ruffle looks very similar to an $80 version I wanted to buy from PB. I am so glad I opted for this cheaper version because it's beautiful! I have received so many compliments on it. I have it in my 4 year old niece's room - very girlie! However - please note that when I was putting it on the bed for the first time, one of the ruffles did pull apart from its seam. The material is VERY thin - and easy to tear - but you get what you pay for. I decided not to return it because it's not noticable. But wanted to forewarn.

This is exactly what I was looking for, and the product is exactly as pictured. It's beautiful! The ruffles were crushed when it was packaged, and another reviewer said that she went around and sprayed the ruffles with water, and smoothed the wrinkles out. So I tried to cut corners and decided to wash it first, then put it on the bed while still damp. The fabric is very thin and doesn't hold much water, so I ended up having to do the same with a spray bottle anyway. It was totally worth the effort; I absolutely love it. Great look, great fit.

I want to return this, but unfortunately due to health issues, I didn't get to opening it until today and now it says I have missed the 30 day window for returns. This is the biggest disappointment. The material is not a durable quality. The rows of ruffles are very narrow. The ruffles are so small that it makes it look like it's for a child's bed. It arrived all wrinkled up from being packed in such a small casing. I was hoping that if I ran it through a wash and dry cycle that a lot of the wrinkles would come out. That didn't happen. So, I started to try to iron it. After only doing about 4 or 5 feet and noticing how cheesy it looks, I decided I am not going to waste my time to do the whole thing because I don't want it on my bed. I have a beautiful looking one on there. Only problem is the elastic band keeps stretching out and it won't stay up. This new one cost more money so I was hopeful it would be better made and since it does not have the elastic band that it would solve the problem. Waste of my time and money! Unless this is for a child and you have a lot of extra time to be ironing it, save your money! .
