Incorrect wiring instructions but the work fine
The wiring in the instruction is incorrect. Both input and output neutral lines are on the outside and black ( hot) are on the inside.Inside my Hunter ceiling fan I installed one unit in the fan circuit andthe other in the light circuit. They work fine with the app and Alexa

Doesnt Work?
As can be seen in my pics I have the live and neutral wires running in and out correctly yet the light does not show power. The app doesnt find it. I tried pushing the button, then holding the button. Any ideas where I went wrong? (And yes I put the power back on :) ) The directions are good if it works but not so much when it doesnt! I opened them up, inserted the wires properly and tightened the screws. I ran the neutral wires from the group to the switch (red cap) and back and took the two live wires from the switch that was there. Could it be that its a 15A circuit and its rated at 10A? I just noticed this difference.

No Instructions Resold as New no help from vender
First it was clear when I received this device it was used and returned then resold to me as new. There was sticky substance on the back that clearly had someone's finger prints imbedded on it. Next there was no instructions. How am I to know what terminal is the positive and which one is the neutral? It is not defined on the unit. I will return it.UPDATE: I know this post is old but I thought id pass some info anyways. The directions are useless or very vague at best. Response from the maker is no better. The switch has no connection imprinted on the device itself to determine which screw the hot wire is to be secured to. The app (Smart Life ) they show to setup the switch presuming its wired correctly, is outdated and looks nothing like the app today thus causing more confusion. Again no response from the maker when trying to address the problem. They commented back to me with a useless response. I ask for the wiring instructions and got a response with the manual. Well that's great Einstein….so where is the manual?!!! I can tell you if you do get past all the connection and setup issues that the switch does work well.Final opinion: It was by far the worst / confusion smart / Wi-Fi item I have had to work with.

Not at all reliable
This thing turns off all the time, for no reason. It’ll turn back on, if you switch it back on, half the time. If it doesn’t switch back on you’ll have to wait for a while and try again. I’m going to return it.

Small size is nice, but so far has been unreliable compared to other model
I've bought two different versions of this switch and the other one is much more reliable than this one. It always needs to be turned off and the. Turned back on again. I do like how small this model is though and it really does fit in a double junction box with another manual switch next to it. That could be the culprit too, I suppose.

Smallest WiFi switch unit
My garage security lights don’t have actual switch because it has motion and photo sensor but wanted put on switch so I can turn off if needed. Running wires on existing electrical was almost impossible so I tried this option because it fits inside junction box. Overall not bad. I have few issues.1. The black cover on top of wires connection has a gap, I tired various way to close but can’t get rid of this gap so either this one is defective or that’s how it sits once you have electric wire underneath.2. Once you put the light, unit is enclosed inside the junction box so even thought my WiFi router is just 15 feet away on top the room top of the garage, I keep loosing WiFi connection so if you are trying to install inside the switch or junction box and your WiFi router is too far, I am not sure it will work or not!3. I don’t have that many wires inside the box and still there is barely any space so if your box is crowded with wires, it will be difficult to install inside the box.Overall, not bad, get the job done most days when it’s connected to WiFi....LOL

A wiring diagram would have been nice
I'm writing this review to save everyone else the trouble of figuring out how to wire this device in North America. The arrows on the device point to black (hot) and are more toward the center of the device. See the attached photo. Setup is exactly like any other Smartlife/Tuya device, and these devices seemingly have a faster startup time than their bigger eMylo counterparts, although I haven't run any tests to confirm that.
