Ecostat Modern Pressure Balance Shower Valve Trim with Diverter in Chrome, 04447000

We use this valve (as well as the thermostatic version, similar to this) on the majority of our design/build projects because: 1. The quality is excellent (we've never had an issue with the valves, and we've ordered dozens and dozens of them) 2. The unit can be used to switch between one fixture or another, or (after removing a small washer inside) be used to have both on at once. The majority of competing brands require a separate diverter valve to do this, Hansgrohe's does this in one. Less money and a cleaner look. Highly recommended.

We purchased the Pressure Balance with Diverter along with other Hansgrohe shower products for our new bathroom construction. They are excellent quality and good construction. All parts work together seamlessly and are easy to install.They look amazing and function very well. They give a real high end feel to the bathroom. I am very pleased with the purchase.

This control was the heart of a shower restoration. It replaced a Symons valve and diverter. Now using the shower and choosing which head is easy. It looks simpler and more stylish too.

This was shipped in an incomplete state. The big parts (handles, cartridge, plate, etc) are present, but many small pieces are not (4x long plastic screws 96454000, gasket for diverter 29 x 3, chrome finish plastic sheath 95253xx0 for diverter, brass fitting and screw for diverter 88772000, tiny screw to attach main handle 95181000). Not sure what happened, but this kind of quality control is unacceptable. Like most things, it needs all the parts to function.

Super high quality, other reviews were skeptical but this is luxury in my new shower. I love it. As long as it’s installed right you won’t have problems down the road.

Looks nice and works well. Just surprised the back plate is plastic and not metal. Need to be VERY careful when cleaning not to scratch. Prefer the back plate to be metal and would have expected it to be. I did my research in advance and noticed it was indeed plastic. Buyer beware. Looks great though and you'd likely not know it was plastic until you held it before installing.

Looks great And I like the functionality of it pairs well with the club master head.

After 5 years of use my faucet started to drip. I tried to fix the problem, however to align the old cartridge inside the diverted to stop the leak was basically impossible. I looked up online to replace the integrated diverter, but I couldn't find that part even using the part no. Finally I ended up getting a new set again paying $176 with delivery. I'm not an expert, however I would think that 5 years of min use (since this is my third bathroom is not as good as expected from premium brand such as hans grohe. As other customers mentioned; shower knobs get wobble and temperature control gets tricky and requires a very gentle operation to find a sweet spot between to mix the water to your comfort.

Arrived on time as described. All when well!

I am using this for a tub/shower. Disappointed with the flow rate into tub. I have 3/4 PEX supply lines and 3/4 lines to spout and shower. The small opening in valve casting have considerable flow restriction. Installed on ibox which has 3/4npt connection and integrated shutoff valves. These shutoff valves are also tiny and probably restricting water flow. This is a lot of cash for average performance.

I like the brass valves but I would prefer the escutcheon plate were made of metal rather than plastic
