I was excited when the EzMic system arrived. The first thing I did was pull out the rechargeable battery pack, inserted the batteries and plugged it in. That was 8 days ago and the batteries are still not charged. I've checked the polarity (the unit itself has no clear markings) but still nothing. I had noticed that several people talked about trouble removing the battery packs on the receiver and transmitters (when batteries are inserted). They weren't joking! It's just an overall design flaw - at least when using the batteries that come with the charging unit.I was able to get the receiver and transceiver to power on using other AA batteries. The overall functionality of the set is not rocket science if you have any familiarity with wireless mics, but the "manual" that comes with the set is pretty worthless. I still haven't figured out how to use the system with both mics at the same time. Chanel A or B but not both. Reaching out to the company is interesting as well. It seems they prefer contact through their fb page which is pretty lame. I've messaged them for assistance. I'll have to see how long it takes to get a response.I'm still optimistic that these mics will do the job, I just wish the company who sells them would have done theirs on the front end to ensure a good first impression.

You may rethink UHF mics after trying these.
Okay, I'm not going to lie. I tried using different brands of UHF mics fifteen or so years ago. The results were predictable: Cheap wireless mics were very disappointing and sometimes unusable; I had to constantly monitor when I was a loan shooter and hated to spend so much attention babysitting my audio. I decided to give it one more try; this time with EZmic. I finally did some tests with my video camera with these wireless mics. EZmic has restored my faith in UHF wireless mics. They're new, but I've tested them out about 75 feet from the subject with pristine quality. Needless to say, I'm very very pleasantly surprised. The higher channels work better for me in a very high signal area. These are great for interviews and the price for the two transmitter system is a third the price for a bigger name comparable. I still like my wired mics, but EZmic may have changed my mind. Good wireless mics, feels solid and performs very well.

The Batteries provided don't fit in the product.
At first I thought that the radios and receiver where used as the screens where scratched so I order a replacement but I was wrong. There is a protective covering over the screens. I'm still glad I ordered a replacement however. I was able to test the set before I sent it back but I was not able to get the battery packs out of the radios and receiver. I checked the size against a normal battery and they are a bit larger than a normal AA.. I ended up sending the set back where I could not get the batteries out and purchased normal batteries and they work great. I would gladly exchange the batteries for ones that work as well as the ones sent if the seller is willing.

Terrible.
Look, these aren't by any means expensive lavs, and I understand that. I bought these because I needed a cheap solution to my problem of not owning any lavs, and hoped this would be a good start until I could afford a better set. While they aren't high end they certainly aren't bottom of the barrel, so I expected that they would at least get me through the basics. At first I was excited. It came in a nice enough case, the setup was simple, and while the material was somewhat cheap (the battery trays are particularly bad, but with a pliers they open and close fine enough), this seemed like an okay value. Then a few days later I took them out to my first shoot with them. Day one went great, and I was happy. Then day two, 20 minutes after laving up and testing them out (at which point they worked), we were about to begin shooting and guess what. One of the lavs died completely. I switched packs to discover they were fine, it was definitely the lav itself. What?! Literally after one day of use it died. There wasn't any crazy stress put on the mic, just a normal setup, and yet this thing died and completely kneecapped my ability to capture sound for the remainder of the shoot. If you want to get cheap lavs I suggest looking elsewhere. If you need to rely on these in any capacity you're rolling the dice.

I purchased this for a gig 7 months ago. The gig did not pan out and so I did not use this kit. I actually did not take it out of the box until today because I needed it for a gig this evenning. I don't know how it sounds. The battery charger does not work or charges so slowly that it does not work well enough. The battery trays in the receiver and transmitters are almost impossible to get of the devices unless you use pliers or a screw driver. I am way past the the return period and that is all on me. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Update: Battery Packs are stuck
So far so good! I used them in a noisy conference setting and the background noise was very minimal. Voices were very clear and had great depth.Update: I'm getting ready to shoot an event in a couple of days and upon trying to remove the batteries to charge them all three battery doors are stuck. I used the supplied batteries and per other reviews, this appears to be a common problem. Don't buy them if you want to actually use them more than once.

Good Audio Quality and Great Range
$250 for a dual microphone wireless system is hard to beat, but this package includes a case, charger, and 8 batteries! The overall quality is great, they feel solid, easy menu to operate, and are loud and clear, even from a distance. I reccomend these for any film maker looking for an easy plug-and-play microphone system. The package includes everything you need to get started!

Best value for money and good quality sound
Was able to set this up without much issue. My first set of wireless sounds. This really helped out for my shoot since I didn't have to run long xlr cables. It comes with a receiver to the xlr as well. Highly recommend this.
