Perfect fit 96 Chevy c1500 I

If you have a short bed, this is the one for you. If you have a long bed this is not the one you will want. You will have a bigger tank. I installed it, super easy and had zero problems. LSX Doc on YouTube has a video that made this very easy to understand and what it takes to install. If you have some simple tools you can install this yourself. Be patient on doing the fuel pump install to make sure your o-ring doesn't shift and get pinched. Gas not included lol

Mine actually came primered

Was looking to replace the large 36G tank with something smaller. This was the perfect fit everything lined up perfectly, install was really really easy, this did not include the baffle like the OEM tank but it worked perfectly. This seems like great value and was perfect.

Fits great no problems just wish it came with the new rubber isolated pices for between the tank and straps

Overall it's a pretty good quality tank. Not as good as the original, but decent for an aftermarket part. Mine said it was Made In Canada, so that was refreshing to see. I took off 2 stars because the tank was a tad bit wider than the original so it was really difficult to install the tank with the original straps. I had to take a hammer to it to be able to get the straps around the tank.

Correct tank for my application. Fits a 96 Chevrolet k1500 4x4 with a short box. I seen in the reviews that a lot of people said it was too short, Chevrolet stuff is pretty simple to understand. If you have a short box you have a 25 gallon tank. If you have a long box you have the 34 gallon tank. Besides the fitment it did install well. Took the sending unit and lock ring perfect. The only issue is when going to install you have to almost dent the sides of the tank where the straps lay across the seams to get them to fit

Tank is an exact fit for my 1992 chevy K1500 short bed single cab 305v8. No leaks, holds fuel. Solid high quality tank. Picture is after tank was replaced and I drove the truck. It works. Great price too!

Aftermarket sender and pump fit right in, tank was lubed on the outside to protect from rust. I ended up giving it a few coats of rockguard before installation. Works great in my daily driver, 95 C1500 shortbox regular cab
