I purchased these lights (sold in a set of four) last week for my family room. They were easy to install, cut the holes using the template provided. Fits perfectly.Functionality wise, at full voltage they work great, no issues and the intensity is what I expected. However at just past the quarter mark adjustment, one of the light flickers really bad the other three have no issues.I’ve requested replacement. Will update this review once the replacement is installed.This is a follow up from my previous review. Lights was shipped and received the next day. Installed them last week and they are working extremely well. (I only replaced the one that wasn’t dimming properly). Therefore, three good lights was returned.I’m very happy with these lights, if you’re looking for something soft at low voltage/setting and if you need it bright at full throttle these are ideal.Great customer service and support. Purchased for our addition, needed an gimbal (multi-direction adjustable) can light. My electrician spouse is picky about specs. One in particular was that there shouldn't be a large enough gap between the light and the can that allows you to see in to the junction box. This fit the bill and he returned others from brick and mortar stores that did not meet the criteria so I'd say that's a huge positive review for this light.From my non-sparky perspective: they are nice looking, they adjust smoothly, and I can't see the junction box. They are very bright at highest output and dim to a pleasant low light level with no humming or buzzing. Purchased in warm white. Can't speak to longevity as they have only been installed for a month.

I replaced two of my old "eyeball" ceiling lights and added two more Torchstar lights for a total of four. They illuminate my fireplace mantle area from incredibly bright to a nice warm glow when I dim them down. Easy installation and they worked with my existing Lutron dimmer like a charm. The trim bezels blend with my ceiling like they were installed when my house was first built. For about 100 bucks, this was the easiest and fastest improvment that I have made in a long time.

My husband was thrilled with this purchase. He put these up and couldn't quit bragging on how easy they were to install and how great they look. As for longevity we have only had for a couple of months so it's hard to tell how long they will last.

I put 9 of these in a Vaulted attic ceiling and I'm planning on putting 3 more in another area. It turned out great and I was able to get rid of all of my freestanding lamps and switched outlets. The actual light portion of these gimbal style lights is only around 4" compared to closer to 6" for the flush mount version but in a vaulted ceiling these are the way to go. The junction box is just right for (2) 12-2 wires. It could get tight if you need to put three in for some reason. You need to buy separate cable connectors that fit in the knockouts as these lights do not come with them.

I installed these for a friend, being a retired contractor. I like the lights, particularly the adjustment of direction, that is why I got these. They were installed in a small kitchen area, with a dimmer switch, which was a good thing, since these turned out to be more lighting than needed. That dimmer switch saved the day. Most likely I will get some for myself to install in my family room.As far as longevity, the jury is out since they were just installed, have no idea how long they will last.

Very easy to install and super bright. I haven't had a chance to try them with a dimmer yet but I plan to very soon. Great price point as well.
