I’ve used these a few times now, it takes a little getting used to: not necessarily putting the bait on the leader but putting the stopper on to keep the bait on. Was skeptical at first of why hair rigs would work better than a drop shot but I caught my biggest carp on a hair rig with two kernels of corn so I’m sold. They have decent braid so a 20 pack should last the average fisherman 3-4 uses each. I used 20lb braid to connect it with a Palomar knot. Also if you lose the tools, a straightened fish hook or paper clip cut at an angle with pliers will work to apply bait.

These came on time and were in perfect shape. They work really well. I have had a couple of the hairs break off, just the portion coming off the shank. Probably came off when I was trying to get the hook out. I saved the hooks because I can use them for other types of fish but they hold very well when a fish is on and fighting. I Pulled in a few nice carp with them.

I like quality. I caught 7 carp fish and 4 catfish last 2 weeks.
