Partiss Women Bowknot Ruffles Gothic Victorian Dress

I love this dress!!! I am 5'7" and weigh 140lbs. I bought an extra large. It looks great, It could easily accommodate someone 5'10". And a couple inches bigger in the bust and waist. It makes absoulutly no difference how big your hips are. There is a tie around the waist and lacing up the bust and ribbon lace on the sleeves all ready to get tighter or looser. There is a zipper in the side for ease in dressing. The collar and the white sleeves are unattached and there is a hoop skirt included. I think a large is probably my size but because of the design the xl still shows off my figure.

While well made, this dress did not fit at all even though I fit perfectly into Fancy Dress Store's size chart. I received permission to return it, but the return shipping to CHINA was $61! I contacted the store with my concerns and was given a small credit to keep the dress and do alterations. Luckily I can sew. I took the entire dress apart and made it into a beautiful skirt and apron. I the purchased a blouse to compliment the new look as the bodice of the dress could not be altered. Had I known the dress was shipped internationally I would never have ordered it. Perhaps I missed something on the description of the dress stating that the country of origin was China.

The dress is a ton of fabric and it's really long. I am 5'5and even with a 4 inch heel on it still is hanging on the ground. The dress definitely makes you really hot as it's heavy and it almost feels like you're wearing your bed sheets. However the quality of the dress is good and it was made as I expected.

Great fabric, relatively quick shipping, amazing price, the front bow was annoying so I took that off the chest but the bust line is really high but was easily adjusted. Absolutely would recommend

Dress fits well for the most part. Top is a little big but that may just be my body. I have gotten lost of compliments.

Absolutely love it! I read the size chart thoroughly before I ordered and it fits perfectly! Halloween is my favorite time of year and now I REALLY can't wait for it to get here! Thanks so much for such a great quality item for such a great price!
