NOURISHING Face Cleansing Oil Anti Aging Daily Facial Cleanser - Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin A For Dry Skin

I am addicted to this cleanser! (I would give it ten stars if I could.) I am 63, have very sensitive skin and multiple allergies and cannot use a lot of skin care products, even prestige brands (try finding an anti-aging product which does not contain grape-seed oil or almonds.) This cleanser is extremely gentle and leaves my face feeling clean but not oily or dry (no more flakes!) Maybe ten years ago I developed dandruff at the base of my eyelashes. My optometrist had me use Johnson's Baby Shampoo to clean off the crust which formed on my eyelash bases. That worked okay until I developed a reaction to the shampoo and my eyelid skin turned red and itched. Over the years I never really found something that was effective at cleaning the crust until I found this cleanser. I panic if I realize that the bottle is getting low. Last time I ordered I purchased three bottles because I do not ever want to run out. How I use: dampen skin with warm water, pump the cleanser in the palm of one hand (I use four pumps), rub hands together to get it to foam a little and apply to face, using a circular motion. Then I wet a soft washcloth with warm water and remove the residue. Result: soft, clean skin which feels wonderful! At night I follow with COUI Vitamin C 20% Serum or COUI Golden Serum. For daytime I follow with COUI Super C Serum and COUI Phytemanteau Moisturizer. I love the line of COUI Skincare! With COUI, my skincare routine has been simplified and my skin has never been better! (For all of the products, a little goes a long way.)

This shipped super fast. I've been using it for a while now and I really do like it. I will say that I had to get used to the smell - it smells like vitamins or something versus that clean, perfumed smell that you get with most cleansers. That being said, I like that it doesn't have perfumes because it doesn't irritate my skin. It is easy to use and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. It does well on removing all my makeup except for my waterproof mascara - but that stuff is a beast and no other cleansers I have used have worked on it either I haven't had any breaking out or other issues, so I deem this one a winner.

I was waiting for my skin to clear up (I had a big dry patch and several odd blemishes) before I tried this, but I couldn't wait. The first time I used it I thought the texture and application was odd, but after I got used to using it, I found it to be amazing. Since my skin is aging but not exactly dry I wasn't sure if a cleansing oil would be what I needed...but clearly it IS! I have incredibly fair and sensitive skin and typically break out with 90% of facial products. I've spent probably $500 on facial cleansers only to be disappointed. No more!First, it completely ended the dry patch of skin I had. The blemishes within 2 days were almost gone. My skin looks more radiant and feels so nice to the touch. I even think some fine lines look considerably less noticeable. My hands even feel more nourished because of how you apply it!I do not moisturize after using this because I don't think I need it. It does tingle a little right after you rinse and dry which I think is making a big difference in my skin. This is a product I won't live without. I'm going to try their other products as well!

It smells rancid and made my face break out.

I loved the idea of an oil cleaner that emulsifies because I can't really be bothered with the wash cloth process in the traditional oil cleansing method. This cleanser DOES wash off nicely and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight. Other than that, there isnt much I like about it unfortunately. Firstly, it's really hard to pump the product out of the bottle. It's as if the tube inside the bottle is too long so the end of it pushes up against the side making it difficult for product to get up the tube and out. Secondly, the instructions aren't really helpful. If i emulsify the cleanser on wet hands before i put it on my face (like it says to do), it doesn't give the oil a chance to clean anything - it just feels like putting water on my face! I found it was best to put the cleaner on DRY skin and massage it around so that it can pick up oil/dirt/makeup on my skin before adding water. Lastly (and most disappointingly), the cleaner doesn't take all my makeup off. Whenever I dry my face with a white towel and I can see foundation residue. I find I have to cleanse two or three times :(

The product was shipped in great condition and price was good. This was a good cleanser. I would purchase it again

To start off, I am not a young teenager or 20 something. I am 55 years old, and it's past time to get serous about skin care. I did a lot of research and decided to go with the COUI line. It was really important to me that there was no animal testing. For me, this was a deal breaker. I also ordered the Vitamin C, Super C and Golden Ceramide serums. But, back to the cleaning oil. This is by far the best cleanser I have ever used. It gently removes makeup and rinses away leaving your skin feeling amazing and soft. I have tried most of the high end cleansers and moisturizers, and COUI is just a superior product. I use the cleansing oil with the NION Opus Facial Cleansing Tool (available on Amazon), and there is absolutly no better way to cleanse your skin. I'm going to be ordering the COUI Phytemanteau Day Moisturizer, and Ocean Toner very soon. I hope you will tune in for their reviews. I am also looking forward to COUI coming out with a night moisturuzer.

I admit I am very lazy about skin care, I know I shouldn't be...but well. In the past, I often used straight coconut oil to clean my face at night, and had good results, but it left more oil than I'd like on my skin (and my pillowcase). So I thought I'd try this. I love it! I love the little bit of lather it creates, I love how my skin feels right after I use it, and most of all I love that when I wake up my skin has the perfect level of moisturization and is dewy and soft.
