1. Nice as a straight-out-of-the-box candle, until you want to control the color.2. The app to control them is really buggy. Expect to keep switching the candles off before you can connect to them, in group particularly. When they lose connectivity (either singly or as a group) they switch off. The only way I've found to get the app to work when it fails is to close the app and remove the batteries.3. The battery compartment is dodgy. The candle will work with the battery cover off, but the cover can switch the candle off. I fiddled worth the batteries and the cover and very gently set it on the table after, since putting it down ordinarily turned the candle off as the cover was pressed by the weight of the candle.4. The scent discs? No noticeable scent from the ones I have.5. Blow to switch off? It takes less effort to just switch it off!So, it looks nice, it's fun to play with the different settings, but the app is a problem.

The Playbulb Candle has a central bulb incorporating a red, blue and green LED which is controlled by a processor allowing any color and varying color sequences with effects that you choose via a free AppAfter you download the Playbulb App to your smart device, you can control the candle from a distance of about 20 feet.Without the App the candle will just cycle through a series of colors until they are controlled via bluetooth with your device.Batteries last about 2 weeks of continuous use, more with less frequent use.The effects and colors are quite good and I have found I like these, and they make interesting gifts.These bulbs do have a compartment to include a small scented cloth, and a number of scents came packed in plastic with the bulbs.Those were promptly thrown away as scented candles and scented LED candles are just not my thing.Cheers

I needed a scalable and portable Bluetooth lighting solution for when we traveled (we attend some fun hotel parties and we wanted to add some fun colors to the room) I researched different Bluetooth lighting devices (candles, strips, bulbs) and found there are several options/vendors out there but they each require a different app. Ideally I wanted to be able to control all of my lighting devices with one app. Then I discovered Mipow's PLAYBULB series which has all of the devices I was looking for (light strip, light bulbs, candles, and even a globe) that could be controlled with a single App. It is very similar to the Phillips Hue system which I have at home (and love) but does not require WIFI. I received all of my products today (the comet, the 2 pack of candles, 3 rainbow light bulbs, and an Orb) and was amazed at how easy and quickly I could get them setup. Just install the app on your phone, then open it up and it will instantly find all of your devices that are turned on. The interface is very intuitive (if you use Phillips hue you will definitely find it familiar) and I was able to group the lights, set different color schemes and effect. I'm really looking forward to using these lights in the next few days and feel pretty good that I will be adding more PLAYBULB lights to my collection in the near future! Great product, I highly recommend!

Really expected to love these but unfortunately they fell pretty short on those expectations. The primary issue is with the app, which the ability to control these remotely was the primary reason for me to want them. Sadly, the app more often than not the app either doesn't find either, or only finds one, even if you're basically standing right on top of the candle. There's no consistency at all in that regard and as such also renders features such as the timer function essentially useless. If you count on it to turn off your candles you're going to burn through batteries finding that out the hard way, as I did. Additionally, though it does have some nice colors, it only takes a few moments of playing with the color wheel in the app to realize that it's actually pretty limited in the variety of colors it can produce. Very disappointing overall, just good enough to keep rather than return. When I first ordered I had every intention of getting a few more down the line, that's not gonna happen. I won't say don't get them just know what you're getting and plan on turning them on and off manually.

Every feature works great except for two things. I can't get them to go off when I blow on them like a candle even when it's in the candle mode. Also, the scent inserts have no scent whatsoever. However, my wife and I still enjoy the candles.

Pretty but the App doesn't work well

Everything as expected. Candles look nice, candle and rainbow effect are my favorite. Took them to a trip and use them for ambience at night and worked like a charm. SUPER EASY to use!

Not worth the price. Not very bright, each requires 3 AA batteries. 6 little scent rings included but none have a scent neither before adding them nor after an hour or 2 of operation.
