Bodum Bistro Electric Blade Coffee Grinder, Black

I bought this to use along with our electric percolator as part of our transition to a non-toxic kitchen, the keurig had to go! This was our first experience with an electric grinder. They pretty much all do the same thing but we wanted to go with a reputable brand and wanted a white option to match our kitchen.The grinder is great, we have had no issues with it. Being able to choose both the amount of grounds to use and the coarseness of the grounds based on grind time makes the process so easy. The machine has had no issues with clogging or difficulty with cleaning it out. My husband now jokes that he loves grinding the beans so much just to experience the smell when they’ve hit just the right level of coarseness! The coffee then works great in our percolator. We have been so glad with our coffee transition and this grinder is a big part of that!

This coffee grinder is really useful for anyone who enjoys freshly ground coffee. I love using it to grind my coffee beans, it’s quick, easy, and works great. A great addition to any coffee drinker’s kitchen!

Love my Bodum coffee grinder! This is my 2nd purchase of this grinder as my 1st one broke after 12 yrs of use. I love that it’s compact and can be stored in my cabinet when not in use.

The media could not be loaded. I picked up the Bodum Bistro 2.1 oz Coffee Grinder because I wanted something attractive, small, efficient, and easy to use—and it delivers! People say the blade grinder isn’t as precise as a burr grinder, but I use this in an Italian moka pot, and it works fantastic. The one-touch operation makes grinding effortless, and the compact size means it doesn’t take up much counter space. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, no-fuss grinder for fresh coffee at home, this is the best choice!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Solid bang for buck. It lives on a tour buss and holds up to road life. I just use it for my French press.

This white grinder seems to have a breach between the top of the stainless steel grinding cup and the plastic device itelf. It constantly leaks ground coffee all over the countertops - every time we use it. Three times I have contacted Bodum customer service to describe the problem. Three times I have received an acknowledgement that my inquiry has been logged and somebody will be following up. Never happened. Once I found their customer service phone number I tried to explain the issue but before they would put my call through to the appropriate customer service center I was directed to purchase some kind of lottery ticket WITH my credit card number over the phone. Honest. Didn't happen. When I asked if the number was in fact Bodum, they said it was but I had to comply to get through. Very strange. This is truly a piece of junk, and the customer service has been awful. Here's the irony: I have the same exact model in black at our other house and it works perfectly! That's why we bought this one.

Solid coffee grinder. Quality and consistent grind every time. A must have for brew lovers.
