AQUAVIVA Freshwater Aquarium Full Spectrum Dimmable LED Light Fixture w/ Remote Control & Adjustable Arms

Not sure why other people are bashing on this wonderful product. I love this light/led system and is better than the stock one thats built in, as I have a fluval edge 6 gal. Sits pefectly on top as I have the smallest size, and love the 3 scenes, which all can be adjusted from super bright, to super dim.To save a scene you have to hold the 1-4 numbers for couple seconds to save that light setting. Does not save different scenes entirely, just the light setting you are on during that setting. Just to clarify.Love having the remote to control this setup, but I do believe a physical switch to turn this on, would be a great addition. Good piece Aquaviva.

I bought one of these for my 20 gallon baby turtle setup and it works pretty well. My plants thrived and the 3 modes for day, dawn/dusk, and night are spot on. I had some issues with the plug-in but that may very well be due to the cheap extension cord I was using. The lack of instructions or ability to program a timer setting or different color combos and scenes is a letdown, but overall this light has worked great for me for nearly a year. I'm upgrading my turtle to a 40 gallon and for cost:quality I'm definitely considering buying another of these. I figured I would write a review while I'm here weighing my options.

Wow! This LED bar is top notch. I was kind of weary ordering it when I read some other reviews about it, but I was in a bind and this met my budget. All in all, it's a well thought out light. It has different modes for lighting that are controlled by the remote included. The remote has a button labeled "Resume," which controls which LED's are on and which are off. It allows you to save "Scenes" of lighting to your liking (4 Scenes total can be saved) the brightness control is especially nice since this is going by my poker table and I didn't want an LED bar that was always at 100% brightness all day long. The body is all metal and makes my tank look a bit more classy than just having an all plastic bar above. I got the 34" bar for my 55 gallon tank which measures out at 4ft long. Would highly recommend this product.

I never write reviews but in this case I must. I have a 35 gallon hexagon acrylic aquarium that I was lighting with an 18 inch led light set up . After 3 mounths it died and I decided to try aquaviva lite. I was a little concerned with no reviews to refer to but decided to try it anyway. The idea of the remote control and adjustable lighting caught my eye. I have never been happier with a purchase. The light is just perfect. My tank looks so much better with this light it is just unbeliveable. The ability to have 3 choices of lighting and the ability to vary the intensity of that light makes it perfect for what ever natural lighting your aquarium is in. The remote control works very well once you get the eye pointed properly. My only concern is durability. If it holds up five stars may not be enough however I will revise this if it is other wise.

The lighting is great! I love all the different options available. Gave it a 4 star because the extension bars are weaker than I expected. I am using the light on top of a custom wooden hood and the original hole is larger than the width of the light.

Very beautiful light. It really highlights everything in my tank. The only draw back is the on off feature. You have to use the remote control. Therefore you can not use a timer to turn it on. The timer will turn it off. I wish they added a regular on/off switch.

Great lighting. Very bright. I like the remote control. Unfortunately it cannot be used with a timer, so you have to turn it on and off every day. Our cats perch on top of it and watch the action with no harm to the equipment.

It's nice, but would be better if you could use it with a timer.
