Great body art option
I love this kit. Very easy to use and it last for quite a while. You have to be careful with application because it will stain even if you clean up quickly a mistake can become a stain. It comes with multiple tips but I only used the smallest one and I was able to get pretty precise, which is awesome. I love using this because I love the look of tattoos but I love the ability to change it up when I want. Even when it fades it still looks pretty cool. I get so many compliments on my body art. I'd say it lasts under two weeks but it also depends on how vigorously you wash, it faded faster in the summer since I showered more often, but on a whole it at least has good pigmentation for 8 days then starts to fade and looks more like a henna. Also, being a woman of color I like using jagua ink because I know it'll look stark on my complexion no matter how tan I get.

Perfect for my needs!!!!
I pretty much never write reviews for any of the products I order off amazon, and to explain why I am writing this review now I must first give you a bit of background information on why I purchased this to begin with. In less than two weeks (from when I first ordered this) I would be going away on vacation to visit family. A month prior I had done something completely stupid and something I regret. I had self harmed. So I was literally trying anything to get the scars to go away so that I could at least enjoy my vacation without having to wear long sleeves and sweat to death in the June heat. I looked up every possible way to get them to go away and nothing was working. I'm writing this in case anyone else is in my situation and freaking out. Because it saves me a lot of stress. So one day at work a girl came in with "henna" and then it clicked, if I did henna I could blend the marks or cover it completely. (They are fully healed cuts! Scars! No open wounds) So I stumbled upon Jagua (which is not henna btw) and the reviews on it seemed prefect, and me running out of options decided to give it a try. Now to my actual review of the product. I had it shipped over night but because of the holiday I got it a day later. So I can't say if it comes relatively quick with standard shipping. Anyway! I was going to wait until the night before my flight to try it but me being the impatient person that I am decided to try it right away. It was super simple to mix together, at first I thought I had added too much water as the consistency was more liquid than gel but after mixing it for a few more minutes it was perfect. I used one of the stencils that use the oil to transfer it, and with some tweaks I was almost 100% sure that my scars were covered. I had to sit still for about an hour for the gel to dry, then after that I left it on for a good five hours, it says only two but I went out and couldn't rinse it yet. When I finally rinsed it off I sort of panicked because it was not dark at all. However the instructions said to wait 24-48 hours for it to darken. So I went to sleep (btw it also recommends that you put paper towel or toilet tissue over it and tape it for the first night so that it doesn't bleed on other body parts or your sheets/cloths. Yeah do that. I have a huge smudge on my arm xD) the next morning my Jagua tattoo was basically like a permanent one and my scars are completely covered (where the actual scars are it took a bit darker)! It says it lasts 1-2 weeks. I go away next week so I'll probably touch it up (it says to wait for it to completely fade before redoing it. But I don't have time for that) but I am 100% happy, and stress free and now looking forward to my vacation. Jagua has saved the day/week! Now I'm not condoning this as a way to keep harming and just cover it with fake tattoos. I really regret what I did and more than likely will not do it again. I'm just super happy I'll be able to wear cute summer clothes and not have to die of a heat stroke! I will certainly buy this product again. I was so excited I drew all over my hand and arms. I did about 17 designs and probably still have half of the bottle of product left. I will update the review when I get back from vacation to explain how it held up in the water/other summer activities. Thank you Jagua!!! :)

Waste of money
Wish I never bought this kit. First of all there are no henna tattoos in this kit. There are some cheesey flash like small tattoos that you can make a stencil out of. Noe about the ink. Some of the powder was wet at some point and stuck to the side of the bottle when I opened up my kit.Mixing the contents is easy but getting the ink back into the tiny bottle is another story. The ink becomes a gel once mixed and makes it thicker going back into the bottle. It doesn't just slide right in. The gel builds up right at the top and it ends up everywhere as you try to push it down into the bottle. Used a toothpick to get it back in. The ink will stain though and it lasts. Even if you wipe off the ink as soon as it touches the skin it will still show up 24 hours later. The bottle is easy to use kinda like pupffy paint. Most of the ink was wasted trying to get it back into the bottle. There has to be an easier way than this. This kit is overpriced for what it comes with. The box is tiny by the way. Deceptive photos in the listing make it look like a bigger kit than it is. I didn't need most of the stuff it came with. I was excited to get this but was so disappointed when it arrived. The ink does what is supposed to but you have to free hand any henna designs you may want. Also test certain areas before going crazy with it. I did some on my hands and some on my thigh. My hand had no issues but my thigh was itchy from it. I don't have sensitive skin so I was glad I did test areas like the product recommend. If you have sensitive skin I wouldn't use it.

Good ink - good instructions - poor applicator tool
Got the kit and tried it out yesterday with my 11-year old daughter. She was super excited to try it out. The ink was easy to mix and instructions were clear and easy to follow. The ink gradually appeared with great contrast too. My issue was with the system of the applicator bottle and the tips that were included. The 3 tips can be interchanged with the same cap. The tips are really just friction held into the cap and a good seal requires that you are able to push the tip far enough into the cap so that it's flange is flash. Because it's just a friction hold, every time you change one out it's going to deform the opening a little. I think the company could have come up with a better way of doing it that was still inexpensive. To boot, one of the three tips (the smallest) was completely stopped up and unusable. I thought that maybe it was something that I was doing wrong but appears to be a manufacturer defect. I would appreciate customer service follow-up.

Iโm so disappointed with this product . I purchased it because i thought it had natural products . As the boxโs says โ organic โ . I placed it on my both of my hands and didnโt feel anything at first . When I go to the point in washing my hands since it was a dry. I woke up that following morning with both of my hands swollen .My hand had became red and I had to go to the walk in clinic to get Hydrocortisone Ointment cream to help with the swollen . After applying the cream I had to have my hands both covered up to avoid the scratching . I now have a permanent marks on both of my hands. Iโm definitely looking into suing my lawyer has been informed about this. I want my refunds back ASAP!!

Avoid this, it is truly inadequate on many levels. The instructions, where investment pays off the most in arts and crafts, are visual gibberish, so unclear as to be laughable. The YouTube instructions do not match the contents of the box, and even the labeling on the box itself does not match the contents of the box! There are cheapo stencils but no eucalyptus oil. There are not two tips for application as clearly indicated on the packaging. It's as if someone bought a struggling business and was just milking it for all it's worth, without putting a penny into it . And please note : NOT RETURNABLE !!!
