This cookbook is amazing! We visit Maine several times a year and we plan our trip around going to Eventide! For those who feel the cookbook has too much Asian food or is not “New England” enough I would say please visit the restaurant before you pass judgment. This cookbook is perfect! Thank you Eventide for sharing these amazing recipes.

Went to the restaurant in Portland, and wanted to make some authentic recipes from Maine since I live across the country. Lots of steps, but I made the lobster stew and saltines and it was so worth it, so many layers of flavor. Might be the best thing I’ve ever made from scratch.

Beautiful story and excellent recipes. Wish I was there now... I'm from San Diego and it took me years to make my way to Eventide. This book takes me back to that moment I walked through the doors and sauntered up to the bar.

J’adore voyager en Nouvelle-Angleterre et je cuisine quand même bien le poisson et les fruits de mer. Les ingrédients de ce livre sont rares (genre des condiments japonais) ou il faut préparer d’autres recettes en amont pour avoir ce qu’il faut pour compléter la recette. Qui a le temps? J’ai demandé un remboursement.
