This kettle is one of the most useful items in our kitchen. Whether it is for a quick cup of tea, or adding boiling water to facilitate cooking. It is quicker than the stovetop any day. It does seem a bit noisy but it boils a full pot in less than seven minutes. Not bad for half a gallon of water. If you have a big family and need to get instant oatmeal ready in a hurry, this item is for you. It turns off automatically so you can multitask and not worry that it will boil dry. There is no plastic that touches the water as it is boiling. The lid opens completely so you can look directly into the bottom of the kettle with ease. The bottom is cool to the touch even with a full kettle of boiled water. My only observation is that the handle does get hot nearest the lid but the bottom half does not get warm at all. Do not touch the stainless steel side when it is full because it is very hot. I am pleased with this purchase would recommend it to anyone that has a need for hot water in a hurry.

Heats water fast and very hot when finished. A small amount of noise but not too bad. If you have to use a drop cord (and I do) it works well but when you lift the pot off of the stand, the stand is so light the cord can drag it off onto the floor. Another thing is you can't heat two pots in a roll. You have to let the pot cool quite a bit before it will turn on again and heat more. But that is actually a good thing, it keeps it from overheating. I just filled it with cold water and set it on the stand, turned it on and after a short while it automatically started heating again. The first pot was still pretty hot when the second was heated so that isn't a problem. As for cleaning, my daughter washed it and said it was aggravating because the lid doesn't come off and gets in the way a little. But not too bad. When you pour the heated water out of the pot you have to pour it slow or it runs down the outside of the pot spilling it. Overall, I like the pot and will buy another later when needed. It is a very good water heating pot, heats the water real hot, it is fast, little noise, shuts off when heated. It also keeps the water hot for a good while after heating and shutting off. I do recommend this pot to anyone.

We have tried many different kettles, from expensive to cheap, plus we have tried even fancy coffee makers… We wanted a kettle to use with natural instant coffee (which we also get on amazon because its hard to find). We wanted a solution that doesnt put hot water through plastic, so we can drink coffee and not plasticy smelling nastiness. This. Kettle. Delivers. Its cheap, cheaper than anything we tried, and one lasted 2+ years! It seems safe and sturdy as advertised, we haven’t had issues. Some people have complained (when we initially read reviews) about it being wobbly on the base. We figured we would take a chance at this price. We are so happy we did. Yeah, our few have bought now, have wobbled a tiny bit, if empty. If full and put on right, they’re totally find. Just keep it on a flat surface with nothing under it. They do leak water a bit somehow, just dry it up. It seems to maybe come from tipping it when pouring, idk, but again our first one lasted 20x longer than other expensive ones we bought. And the water seems to not cause an issue. Of course with water and electric, not a good mix so be careful!

Large Capacity and fast heating! This kettle has the auto-shutoff, which I will never be without, and it is easy to use. I prefer to have the power switch on the handle and not some flimsy plastic piece below the handle, and this has the handle switch. I have noted with the large capacity, if I fill it up to the 2.0L and then try to pour the whole amount out by almost upturning it, the volume of the amount of water coming out the little filter at the spout, is too much for it to handle and it then leaks, or more like, drips. My solution is just to not fill it all that way, and only pour "normally", not being in a hurry. This alleviates the drip factor. Great little kettle and only hopes it last 3 years of daily use, like my last one did. Time will tell, but it IS a good item and durably built without being too heavy when at maximum capacity! Would buy again.

It hears up extremely fast be careful. The water gets extremely hot and it stays warm longer than on the stove top.

I bought this pot September 17, 2025…the biggest reason I bought this brand is because it was given good reviews…I used this pot multiple times daily, everyday….Today is December 24th, I was boiling some water this morning for coffee & realized that water was spilling out of the bottom of the pot…undoubtedly the heat from the element got hot enough to burn a hole (s) through the bottom… Called Amazon customer service, Amazon offers a 30 day warranty which I already knew expired….what blew my mind was that the manufacturer’s warranty was only for 90 days….which I missed by a week….regardless, I ended up buying a piece trash with no recovery & was forced to purchase another pot from another vender… my suggestion is to publish warranty information on your product description page to better inform customers… Respectfully, Eric V. 5 months later still works well. I habe over filled it a few times and it spilled over when boing AND it still works and the plate still works! I use it every day! Takes 11 min to heat up when full. Lid opens very easy thank God! Great customer service as well from the vendor. Thank you!

Lasted me 6 years. Buying another one due to mold in the spout. Very hard to clean that. Auto Shuts off when done, but no temperature control. Lots of water storage and easy to use. Entirely metal.
