Ronin R5 Vented Cut Hockey Visor with Anti Fog and Anti Scratch Coating - Impact Resistant - Universal Helmet Fit - CE Certified

First photo is the visor on my Reebok Helmet, fits great. The Second photo is a comparison of a Bauer Visor (Left) and the Ronin R5 (Right). The Third View is showing the Curve compared to the same Bauer Visor (Left) to the Ronin R5 (Right) the Bauer visor was the one I had on already and I had it for a few years the curve could be exaggerated because of the long use. I have not played with the visor on yet so I cannot say how well it stays in place or how well it keeps the fog off but it feels solid. The clarity is the same as the Bauer Visor, no blurriness or smearing just a clean image. The install was very easy, visor seems to flex easier than my previous visor. The hardware that came with it is not good for me, I just used the ones I had on previously. I have a large helmet and needed spacers (I used the ones I already had on the helmet). All in all, way worth it for the price. Visor seems solid and you can't beat the price, I will be buying again.

Just bolted it on. This is a CCM tacks 310 helmet, adult size L (7 1/8-7 3/4). You can tell it is a universal fit and I had to flex it in a little bit to get the holes to line up, but it did go on. A smaller helmet this might not work. Used the supplied longer screws and spacers that came w the visor, and the helmet stock chin strap sockets. It looks pretty good on the helmet, plenty of clearance behind it. On this helmet there is about a half inch gap between it and the helmet to vent air and hopefully not fog. Haven't played in it yet, but should be just fine. When i put it on it doesnt seem to distort. Mounted this way it comes down to the tip of my nose. Mounted through the the two long slots it seemed to come down a little far and didnt match the lines of the helmet very well.

Nice visor. I use it outdoors in the summer and it cleans easily and has resisted scratches well so far. Much less expensive than the name brand visors. Even if it doesn't last as long I can buy 2-3 of these for the price of one brand name visor. But so far it has performed just as good as my older more expensive visor.

Ordered this to get to me before my next game. I'm a beer leaguer, so I figured I'd go for something cheaper than the Bauer or Oakley visors. I'm one game in and I'm surprised at how much I'm liking this visor already. When I looked through it at home, it didn't seem like the optics were great, but as soon as I was at the rink, it was absolutely crystal clear. Didn't fog up at all on me, as advertised. I haven't taken any pucks or sticks to it yet, so I can't say anything about durability/scratch resistance. I plan to purchase another Ronin visor when the time comes to replace this one.

I had this on my helmet for about 6 weeks before it finally scratched. I’ve taken sticks and elbows during that time, but what was it that finally took it down? Using my jersey to wipe it instead of a towel. A one inch scratch right in the middle of my field of vision....maybe I wiped it with one of the seams?For the price, I’ll just get another one and make sure I don’t forget my towel anymore.Other than that I’ve enjoyed it a lot. I haven’t had any problems with fogging and it’s held up to multiple impacts.UPDATE!!! So I feel pretty stupid, what I thought was a scratch turned out to rub off with some spit and a towel. I’m increasing the stars and am very happy with my visor. Definitely recommend it

I have successfully completed a season of men's league and coaching 8U and 10U wearing this visor. It has taken some abuse and is still holding up. I have yet to have a fogging issue and there is no discernable vision distortion. For the price this is a freaking stellar product.

I would give this visor 2.5 stars, but rounding up because for the price, its not bad. The anti-fog works well, but the anti-scratch not so much. As for the protection, its great. I took a slapper squared in the center and no cracks at all. However, my biggest complaint is the optical clarity. Compared to my old Oakley's, it seems more distorted and magnified. Yes, yes I know there is a big price difference, but you do really get what you pay for in this instance. Would I buy it again? If I was super short on cash and cant save up for the more premiere brands then yes (reluctantly). However, I would strongly recommend getting something else if you can with a better optical clarity. This will gives you headaches in the beginning, but you will eventually get used to it.
